Устройство состоит из транспортера 7, расположенного косо над бесконечным полотном 2 и зажимающего стебли в комлевых част х, с целью подведени стеблей к барабану. Полотно 2 параллелизует стебли, ориентирует и подводит их концами к рабочему отверстию вершинками вперед. В кожухе барабана имеютс две рабочих щели: щель 3 находитс спереди по диаметру барабана, а щель 4- сверху. Дл отвода костры в кожухе имеетс отверстие5.Стебли, зажатые комлевыми концами в транспортере 7, пройд через барабан, декортицируютс по всей своей длине от места зажима и выход т с торца барабана 6 в виде лент луба, очищенного от древесины. Здесь луб соскальзывает по торцевому кожуху 7, несколько перекрывающему полотно 8, и принимает направление движени последнего; так как комлевые части наход тс еще в зажиме 7, то луб, передвигаетс поперек полотна 8. Пройд все полотно 8, луб попадает на фигурный ремень 9.
