Description

The proposed device is designed to test the spools of the steam engine locomotives of all series. This is achieved by the fact that on the fixed-spindle the muffs are installed, which under the action of the stop connected with the spool rod when the locomotive moves, are rearranged at the respective distances.

When using the device, the locomotive must necessarily be in a hot condition, and instead of slipping it rolls with its own thrust.

On the spool rolling pin on the back side, a callout is made on the hook not in the preliminary position of the spool, but in the center, i.e. the middle of the preposition lines is taken. The device consists of a stand 7, which is mounted on the gland stud on the rear side. The rack 1 carries the spindle 2. The jacks 4 and the drum 3 are joined together in such a way that they are located in the middle of the spindle 2. In this position, the drum 3 is secured with a screw.

If the sleeves 4 have moved apart the same distance from the drum 3, then this means that the eccentric rod is correct. If, on the other hand, the front coupling 4 has moved aside, for example, by 8 millimeters, a longer distance means that the eccentric load of ha is short (by 4 millimeters).

After correct installation of the eccentric shaft, it is necessary to install the spool correctly, namely, tighten the spool so that the stop 6 is at risk of the drum 3. If the hook coincides with the center of the spool, this means that the spool is installed correctly. If the hook does not match the risk, then you need to install the spool accordingly.
