Широкое применение электросварки в промышленности ставит серьезно вопрос об обмазке и сушке электродов, требующихс  в огромном количестве. Ручные процессы обработки требуют значительного обслуживающего персонала , поэтому в насто ш.ее врем  переход т к механизации этих процессов. Предлагаемое изобретение дает один из способов механизации процессов обмазки и сушки электродов, подвешиваемых в вертикальном положении, и представл ет собою периодически поворачивающийс  станок карусельного типа, снабженный периодически поднимающейс  и опускающейс  ванной, котора  наполн етс  обмазочным составом.
