The proposed adaptation to cylinder tanning sewing machines is intended to automatically move the workpiece in accordance with the direction of the seam.

In the fixture, a clamp 3 is used, having the form of a half-cylinder sitting on a cylindrical mandrel / 2 and provided with a through figured slot / 5. The cylinder itself is rotatable on the lower arm of the machine and is also driven by a washer 8.

The operation of the device is as follows: a blank, for example, the heel of the boot, is put under the clamp 3 of the machine 1 and the machine is set in motion. The pushing shaft is used to communicate the movement of the eccentric washer 8, which has grooves on both sides, on which are on one side, the end 18 of the rod 9, which serves to rotate the cylinder 14, and on the other, the end 17 of the rod- 4, moving the clip along the cylinder. This is achieved by the fact that

the rod 9 is connected by a rocker 6.o by the rod 5 articulated by means of the arc 2 with a semi-cylinder. The grooves in the eccentric washer 8 are made so that all the sections of the slot 15 of the clamp 3 are guided in a keel, and the slot cocktail meets the required direction of the back stitch line. During stitching along the longitudinal part of the contour, i.e. when the clamp moves along the sleeve of the machine, the washer 8 feeds the rod 4, and the rod 9 on the opposite side does not creep.

They can also work at the same time, making it possible to clamp the material along any curve.

If the rod 5 is moved, the arc 2 will rotate the cylinder 14 and the mandrel 12 with the clamp 3, since the cylinder is connected to the platform with a key 11.

When moving. The rods 4, the cylinder 14 will stand in place, and the mandrel 12 will move along the arm of the machine, guided by the key 11.
