Abstract
An apparatus for rectification of fermented solutions comprises acolumn (1) with topping and rectifying sections (5, 6), trays (9) intended for the liquid/gas exchange and spaced along the height of the column (1), a heat exchanger (14), connected through a system of pipes (16, 16) to the rectifying section (6) of the column (1) and sockets (4, 12, 13), correspondingly, for inletting the raw material and the heating steam to the column (1) and for outletting the bottom product. The cross-section area of the upper part (8) of the rectifying section (6) of the column (1), which is located by 2 to 8 trays (9) above the socket (4) for inletting the raw material equals to 0.25 to 0.64 of the cross-section area of the resting part of the column (1) whereas the total capacity of the trays (9) of the upper part (8) of the rectifying section (6) equals to 0.04 to 0.40 of the total capacity of the rest of the trays (9) of the column (1). A method of automatic control of the apparatus for retification of fermented solutions provides for regulation of the feeding of the raw material and the heating steam to the column (1) and of the bleeding of the spirit condensate, and furhter provides for correction of the above parameters depending on losses of the spirit together with the bottom product. The losses of the spirit together with the bottom product are determined through the content of the spirit in the vapour phase of the bottom product taken from the 2<nd> to 5<th> tray (9) of the topping section (5) of the column (1). The group of inventions can be most successfully used in installations of indirect type operation or in autonomous apparatus containing one column for rectification of fermented solutions.
