Abstract

The adjusting mechanism is intended for use in connection with door frames for folding doors to compensate for shrinkage or expansion of the materials of the folding door. The mutual setting of the two parts 1, 2 which telescope one relative to the other is adjustable by means of a simple screw connection 3, 4, the one part 2 being firmly anchored to a wall or other fixed structural part, whilst the other part 1 shall make contact with the folding door. Attached to a screw 4 belonging to the screw connection 3, 4 is a head 5, which has a member, such as a hole 6 or notch, intended to engage with a tool 12 for turning the screw 4. In order to ensure a two- point mounting of the tool 12, a follower 10 is present, which is rotatably connected to the head 5 and has a hole 11 for the tool 12. <IMAGE>
