Abstract

In the manufacture of concrete roof tiles, a mold is used with a surface against which the tile being made rests during the molding and drying procedure. Said surface determines the appearance of the back of the tile, while its front is formed by a profile means. According to the invention the mold comprises a body (1) having torsional and bending rigidity and a cover of wear-resistent rubber (2) which covers at least one side of the body. The outside (6) of the cover forms said mold surface.
