Abstract

The adaptor (32) modifies a console (6, 8) designed for mounting a fuel tank with a first cross-section (e.g. rectangular) so that it can be used to mount a fuel tank with a second cross-section (e.g. round) which is different than the first. The adaptor is connected to the console on one side and the other side is adapted to the shape of the second cross-section.
