The described utility model relates to a device designed to protect the pile covering of the bottom of a passenger car from dirt, snow, water in adverse weather conditions, as well as to increase comfort.

The known design of the floor mat (see description of the utility model, certificate. No. 10657 class B60 N 3/04), which contains a box-shaped pallet formed by a bottom with a grooved surface and side flanges and made at the same time with a flat apron pallet with a grooved working surface, on which there are multidirectional recesses to give it a shape corresponding to the bottom of the vehicle.

The disadvantage of this solution is the limited possibilities for its use and lack of comfort.

The closest in technical essence and the achieved result is the design of the floor mat (see description of the utility model, certificate. No. 11517 class B60 N 3/04), which contains a pallet with a bottom having corrugations and side walls located around the perimeter of the bottom, and made at the same time with the pallet "flat tongue with corrugations. ,

On the inclined lateral walls of the pallet, to increase the rigidity of the walls, there is a longitudinal protrusion, and on the outer surface of the side walls there are protrusions of a flat shape and a profile-shaped edging.

The disadvantage of this solution is the rigid side walls of the pallet, creating a loose fit to the stamping of the floor of the car body and, as a result, getting into the gaps of dirt, snow and water.

Another disadvantage of the known solution is the lack of volume of the rug at the crossing point of the so-called “visor floor” with the pedals placed above it to protrude; it is stamped out of the body under the wheel niche, for example, near the driver's rug.

The technical result, to which the proposed design of the utility model is directed, is to increase its versatility and ease of use.

This is achieved due to the fact that the so-called “visor of the rug located in the front part has a stepped shape, i.e. its individual parts are located in different planes smoothly turning one into the other and when stacking in a car well, without wrinkles they cover the parts of the floor that are under the control pedals and the stamping of the floor in the area of the front wheel niche.

Thus, the proposed design of the mat completely covers the pile part of the body and it does not require any cutting of the sectors of the mat itself to fit snugly in different zones and does not create any wrinkles.

The rug is made on serial vulcanization equipment in a fairly flat (low) mold.
