SUBSTANCE: invention concerns rehabilitational medicine and can be used for recovery of health at diseases and backbone damages independently or in a complex with other methods of treatment; for relief at sportsmen and people with serious physical work; relief of chronic weariness and strengthening of muscles of a back and a neck. The orthopedic mattress with a basis and a working surface, in addition contains the inflatable platen from an air-tight material with the valve for resetting of height and position of feet at a different angle. The basis has segments for assemblage. The bottom rigid layer is covered with a hypo-allergenic wear-proof material. The soft top layer is executed for fitting the body and equipped with slings. The slings adapt the working surface for growth of the patient. The working surface is executed in the form of cervical and lumbar projectors. The protectors are filled by a loose material and have possibility of change of the form and volume. Two pillows for physiological position of a head at lying are edgewise attached to the cervical projector. The soft top layer of the basis, projectors and pillows are covered by natural materials with a various calorific capacity. Possibility of active interaction of the patient with the working surface, portability and availability to a wide range of patients is as a result provided.

Description

The invention relates to rehabilitation medicine and can be used to restore health in diseases and injuries of the spine alone or in combination with other methods of treatment, as well as to relieve overloads in athletes and people with heavy physical labor, relieve chronic fatigue and strengthen the muscles of the back and neck.

Many mattresses are known under the name “orthopedic”, including spring, non-spring, shape memory effect, inflatable, water, etc. However, by their structural and functional properties they are not therapeutic and do not provide unloading and extension of the spine, because they do not have a working surface, which affects the nerve endings of the body, and, as a result, can not relieve stress in individual muscle groups. All these mattresses are for domestic use only.

Closest to the claimed and corresponding term "orthopedic" is a mattress proposed by K. Kinlyayn (Application of Germany No. 3010122, 1981, Patent SU 1526566, 1989). It has a profile element made of a material with long-lasting elasticity, forming a working surface and consisting of a back and ribs, the back is in contact with the base. The ribs have different heights, thicknesses and orientations "for the good functioning of the body and the correct posture of the body lying from the anatomical point." The mattress is designed for relaxation and has large dimensions.

Common features of the prototype with the claimed orthopedic mattress: the presence of the base and work surface.

Differences from the prototype: the base is made segmental, has 2 layers;

Objective: to develop a portable, accessible to a wide range of patients, orthopedic mattress with the possibility of active interaction between the patient and the work surface.

When solving this problem, the following technical result is achieved: the functional capabilities of skeletal muscles obtained in the process of phylogenesis and ontogenesis, their ability to alternate phases of contraction - relaxation are realized. In use, maximum contact is achieved due to the active interaction of the patient and the working surface and conditions are created for the phased relaxation of the muscles of the back and neck with the active and controlled participation of the patient, which provides relief from stress, fatigue, pain and, as a result, an improvement in the general condition of the patient. The orthopedic mattress has portable dimensions and weight, is convenient in transportation and easy to use; it is affordable for a wide range of patients.

The technical result is achieved due to the design features of the orthopedic mattress:

the combination of the base and the working surface, its segmental structure provide compactness, facilitate assembly and reduce weight;

the presence of cervical and lumbar projectors, pillows and the ability to move them provide individual adaptation and comfort, realize the active interaction of the patient and the work surface;

the presence of a popliteal roller with the ability to adjust the height ensures the position of the legs at any angle, i.e. legs are actively involved in relaxing the muscular system.

The use of bulk filler made from natural materials and coatings with different heat capacities provide comfort, enhance the effect on muscles.

The problem is solved due to the fact that in an orthopedic mattress having a base and a working surface, the base is made of segments that provide compact assembly, the lower hard layer is covered with hypoallergenic, wear-resistant, easy-to-process material, and the soft upper one fits the body and is equipped with slings that adapt the working surface - cervical and lumbar projectors - to the growth of the patient; projectors are filled with bulk material with the possibility of changing their shape and volume; two pillows are attached to the neck projector, creating a physiological and comfortable position of the head when lying on its side; the orthopedic mattress has a popliteal inflatable roller made of airtight material, it is equipped with a valve for adjusting the height and position of the legs at different angles; the top layer of the base, projectors and pillows are covered with natural materials with different heat capacity.

An orthopedic mattress is used as follows: removed from the package, laid out on a horizontal surface, using the slings, the projectors are adapted to the patient's growth. The patient is located on the working surface and chooses a comfortable position.

An orthopedic mattress containing a base and a working surface, characterized in that it further comprises an inflatable roll of airtight material with a valve for adjusting the height and position of the legs at different angles, the base having segments for assembly, a lower hard layer coated with a hypoallergenic wear-resistant material and a soft upper a layer made to fit the body and equipped with slings that adapt the working surface to the patient’s growth, made in the form of cervical and lumbar projectors, filled with bulk material and having the ability to change the shape and volume, while two pillows are attached to the neck projector for the physiological position of the head when lying on its side, and the soft top layer of the base, projectors and pillows are covered with natural materials with different heat capacities.
