Abstract
1. Буровой инструмент, содержащий по меньшей мере один режущий элемент, включающий:суперабразивную пластинку, расположенную на подложке;утопленную поверхность в режущей грани суперабразивной пластинки; ифигурный элемент в подложке на границе раздела между суперабразивной пластинкой и подложкой, соответствующий утопленной поверхности в режущей грани суперабразивной пластинки.7. Claims (20)
1. Режущий элемент для бурового инструмента, включающий:
суперабразивную пластинку, расположенную на подложке; и
по меньшей мере одну, по существу планарную, утопленную поверхность в режущей грани суперабразивной пластинки.
2. Режущий элемент по п. 1, в котором по меньшей мере одна, по существу планарная, утопленная поверхность располагается в основном параллельно с по существу планарной поверхностью режущей грани режущего элемента.
3. Режущий элемент по п. 1, в котором утопленная поверхность имеет в общем форму круга или многоугольника, или многоугольника Рело.
4. Режущий элемент по п. 1, в котором суперабразивная пластинка имеет поверхность с СКВ значением шероховатости менее примерно 10 микродюймов.
5. Режущий элемент по п. 4, в котором суперабразивная пластинка имеет поверхность с СКВ значением шероховатости менее примерно 0,5 микродюйма.
6. Буровой инструмент, содержащий по меньшей мере один режущий элемент, включающий:
суперабразивную пластинку, расположенную на подложке;
утопленную поверхность в режущей грани суперабразивной пластинки; и
фигурный элемент в подложке на границе раздела между суперабразивной пластинкой и подложкой, соответствующий утопленной поверхности в режущей грани суперабразивной пластинки.
7. Буровой инструмент по п. 6, в котором фигурный элемент в подложке на границе раздела между суперабразивной пластинкой и подложкой включает утопленную в подложке поверхность, аналогичную по форме утопленной поверхности в режущей грани суперабразивной пластинки.
8. Буровой инструмент по п. 6, в котором утопленная поверхность имеет в общем форму круга, или многоугольника, или многоугольника Рело.
9. Буровой инструмент по п. 6, в котором суперабразивная пластинка имеет поверхность с СКВ значением шероховатости менее примерно 10 микродюймов.
10. Буровой инструмент по п. 9, в котором суперабразивная пластинка имеет поверхность с СКВ значением шероховатости менее примерно 2 микродюйма.
11. Буровой инструмент по п. 10, в котором суперабразивная пластинка имеет поверхность с СКВ значением шероховатости менее примерно 0,5 микродюйма.
12. Буровой инструмент, содержащий по меньшей мере один режущий элемент, включающий:
суперабразивную пластинку, расположенную на подложке; и
по меньшей мере одну, по существу планарную, утопленную поверхность в режущей грани суперабразивной пластинки.
13. Буровой инструмент по п. 12, дополнительно содержащий расположенный на нем ограничитель глубины вруба для предотвращения взаимодействия между непрорезанной подземной породой и утопленной поверхностью в режущей грани суперабразивной пластинки в процессе буровых работ.
14. Буровой инструмент по п. 13, в котором ограничитель глубины вруба выровнен с радиально наружной кромкой утопленной поверхности в режущей грани.
15. Буровой инструмент, содержащий по меньшей мере один режущий элемент, включающий:
суперабразивную пластинку, расположенную на подложке; и
несколько непланарных утопленных поверхностей в режущей грани суперабразивной пластинки.
16. Буровой инструмент по п. 15, в котором непланарные утопленные поверхности в целом концентричны друг другу.
17. Буровой инструмент по п.15, в котором по меньшей мере одна из нескольких непланарных утопленных поверхностей в суперабразивной пластинке имеет в поперечном сечении дугообразную или зигзагообразную форму.
18. Буровой инструмент, содержащий:
по меньшей мере одну лопасть; и
несколько режущих элементов, каждый из которых включает:
суперабразивую пластинку, расположенную на подложке;
по меньшей мере одну утопленную поверхность в режущей грани суперабразивной пластинки, при этом по меньшей мере один из нескольких режущих элементов прикреплен к одной или нескольким областям по меньшей мере одной лопасти, включающим коническую область, торцевую область, область заплечика или периферийную область.
19. Буровой инструмент по п. 18, содержащий две или более лопастей, при этом по меньшей мере второй режущий элемент из нескольких режущих элементов прикреплен к одной или нескольким областям второй лопасти, включающим коническую область, торцевую область, область заплечика или периферийную область
20. Способ формирования режущего элемента, описанного выше.
