Пояс шахтера, включающий спинку, соединенные с ней два нижних борта из трикотажного материала и два верхних борта-тяжа со вставкой из упруго-растяжимого трикотажного материала, снабженные на концах элементами застежек из ткани велькро, и выполненные на бортах карманы под ребра, отличающийся тем, что нижняя часть пояса выполнена с расширенным нижним краем, с возможностью опоры на крылья подвздошных костей, ребро выполнено дугообразно изогнутым в сагиттальном направлении из жесткого материала, причем к вершине дуги ребра прикреплен грузодержатель, а на нижней поверхности дуги и грузодержателя размещена подушка, задний конец ребра введен в карман на заднебоковой поверхности пояса, при этом к грузодержателю прикреплена боковая лямка с застежками на свободных ее концах с возможностью проведения ее через подмышечную впадину противоположной стороны.1.
