Поршневой двигатель внутреннего сгорания, состоящий из корпуса, кривошипно-шатунного и газораспределительного механизмов, систем питания, зажигания, смазки и ряда др. вспомогательных механизмов, обеспечивающих пуск и работу двигателя, отличающийся тем, что его коленчатый вал смещен относительно оси цилиндра влево или вправо в зависимости от направления его вращения; при правом вращении он расположен левее и наоборот, тем самым уравниваются динамические напряжения поршня о стенки цилиндра, где они возрастают в процессе сжатия и снижаются при рабочем ходе, кроме того все движения поршня на окружности коленвала смещаются так, что угол от верхней мертвой точки до нижней больше при процессах всасывания и рабочего хода, чем противоположный по ходу его вращения с процессами выхлопа и сжатия, а также сопутствует незначительное увеличение хода поршня и чем больше отклонение вала от оси цилиндра, тем заметнее положительное влияние на рабочие процессы двигателя.
