FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY

The utility model relates to the field of watch industry, in particular to the design of watches, namely the design of watches with a split strap and can be used in the manufacture of watches from precious metals and their alloys.

BACKGROUND

Watches with a split strap require a specific design of the attachment points of two parts of the strap in the watch case, which entails certain requirements for the watch case.

Known watches with a split strap comprising a case, a clock mechanism housed in the case, a glass covering the dial, a back cover on the back surface of the case, and a split strap of two parts attached on both sides to the watch case, while the watch case has protruding from two sides of the platform, in the walls of which holes are made in which fastening elements are placed for fastening the split strap. Each part of the split strap has a connecting end section, each of the connecting end sections is located on one of the platforms of the housing, with holes in each connecting end section, the location of which is aligned with the holes in the wall of the platform. The watch is equipped with two removable plates for attaching the connecting end sections of the split strap, with each removable plate having protrusions entering the holes of the connecting end sections. The protrusions are made with threaded sockets, into which the shanks of the fastening elements are screwed (US patent No. 4034552, IPC G04B 37/00 from 07/12/1977). In this design, to replace the strap, it is necessary to completely disconnect the plates and fasteners, which complicates the replacement of the strap, and can also lead to the loss of removable plates and fasteners.

Also known are wrist watches with a split strap comprising a case, a clock mechanism housed in the case, a glass covering the dial, a back cover on the back of the case, and a split strap of two parts attached to the watch case on both sides, while the watch case has round longitudinal grooves made in the side walls of the watch case, and holes are made in the walls of the grooves in which the fastening elements for fastening the split strap are placed, each part of the split strap has a connecting end th section, the edge of the connecting section is equipped with a rigid cylindrical rod placed round the longitudinal groove of the housing. A hole is made in the rod into which the threaded end of the fastening element is screwed (US patent No. 4432655, IPC G04B 37/00 of 02/11/1984).

Wrist watches with a split strap are also known, comprising a case, a clock mechanism housed in the case, and a split strap of two parts attached on both sides to the watch case, the watch case having longitudinal grooves made in the side walls of the watch case, and the walls of the grooves are made holes in which fasteners are placed for fastening the split strap. Each part of the split strap has a connecting end section, and a reinforcing element fixed by one side on the edge of the connecting section, and the other side of the reinforcing element is inserted into a groove in the wall of the watch case and is made with a hole through which the shank of the fastener for attaching the split strap is passed. The split strap is made of thermoplastic polymer, and the reinforcing element is molded into the connecting end of the split strap, (published US application No. 2006/0180000, IPC G10G 5/00 of 08/17/2006). The presence of a rigid reinforcing element increases the reliability of fastening the split strap in the watch case, however, the mounting unit of the split strap has a complex structure with a large number of parts, which complicates the assembly of the watch.

Thus, there is a technical problem consisting in the need to develop a watch with a split strap that would have higher performance due to the simplification of the installation and replacement of the split strap and decorative elements of the watch.

ESSENCE OF A USEFUL MODEL

The objective of this utility model is to develop a decorative watch case with a split strap, which provides higher performance by simplifying the installation and replacement of the split strap and decorative elements of the watch case, the design of which should provide the ability to fix the split strap in the case and install a decorative element on the case with a minimum number of fasteners, in addition, the design of the decorative case for watches with a split strap dol to provide the ability to exclude accidental loss of individual parts hours during installation and replacement of the split strap. In addition, the design of the decorative watch case with a split strap should provide increased reliability of fastening the split strap to the watch case. Other advantages of the utility model will be apparent from the description of the utility model and the drawings.

The technical result, objectively manifested when using the utility model, is to simplify the installation and replacement of the split strap in watches with patch decorative elements, because in the proposed design, if the watch case and patch decorative element have matching holes for fastening elements to hold the patch decorative element on the case hours, in particular, a decorative removable back cover, and fastening a split strap can do with a minimum number of holes sockets for fasteners and use the same fastening elements, in particular screws with a head, passed through the coordinated holes in the trim decorative element, and walls of the recesses in the connecting end portions of the split strap.

In addition, this ensures that when replacing the strap, the set screws will not be lost. In this case, it is also guaranteed that the decorative removable cover will not be lost, which is especially important when the cover is made of precious metals, thereby making it possible to remove the fixing shanks of the fasteners inside the threaded hole when attaching the split strap.

If there is a recess in the wall opposite the hole for the fastener for attaching the strap, a slot located opposite this hole, to place the end of the fixing shank of the fastener in it, a more reliable fastening of the strap is provided.

All this also contributes to increasing the durability of fastening the strap in the watch case, which will reduce the time for customer service watches.

EXAMPLES OF IMPLEMENTATION OF A USEFUL MODEL

A watch with a split strap contains a bearing case 1, a split strap 2, which includes two parts 3 and 4, attached on both sides to the bearing case 1. The set screws have a head 19, which compresses the removable decorative element 9 to the outer surface of the wall 12 of the recess 11.

Depending on the specific design of the bearing housing 1, the length of the threaded portion of the set screw may be equal to the length of the hole 13, or be larger or smaller.

The number of holes 10 and 13 may be different: from one to three. In the application example provided in the application, two holes 10 and 13 are made in the walls, while the center-to-center distances between these holes in the recesses 11 on both sides of the housing 1 coincide.
