Abstract
Se refiere a un metodo para crear un nuevo gen en un organismo en ausencia de una plantilla de ADN artificial, y a su uso. El metodo comprende el paso de generar simultaneamente roturas de ADN en dos o mas diferentes sitios especificos en el genoma del organismo, en donde los sitios especificos son sitios genomicos capaces de separar diferentes elementos genicos o diferentes dominios de proteinas, y las roturas de ADN se ligan entre si a traves de empalme de extremos no homologos (NHEJ) o reparacion homologa para generar una nueva combinacion de los diferentes elementos genicos o diferentes dominios de proteinas que son diferentes de la secuencia genomica original, por medio de lo cual, se crea un nuevo gen. El nuevo gen de la invencion permite modificar caracteristicas del organismo como su crecimiento, desarrollo, resistencia, rendimiento, entre otros.
