Abstract

Un conjunto de generacion de potencia hidrodinamica y un metodo de uso del mismo para generar potencia electrica a partir de la combinacion de energia cinetica, energia hidrostatica y energia turbulenta del agua. El conjunto de generacion de potencia comprende un conjunto de acelerador de agua que comprende una estructura de soporte que es al menos parcialmente flotante y un elemento de panel deflector (o una matriz de elementos de panel deflector) que tiene una abertura, separacion entre paneles o pasaje de flujo alrededor del/de los panel(es) deflector(es). Un convertidor de potencia hidroelectrica esta soportado desde, por o sobre la estructura de soporte y esta acoplado operativamente a un generador. El convertidor de potencia hidroelectrica se posiciona detras del conjunto de deflector. El agua que fluye a traves o alrededor del conjunto de deflector tiene una velocidad aumentada en relacion con la corriente ambiental y, por tanto, es capaz de generar mas energia en relacion con el agua ambiental en la que se despliega el conjunto de generacion de potencia. Los tipos particulares de convertidores de potencia hidroelectrica adecuados para su uso con la invencion son turbinas y ruedas hidraulicas.
