Abstract

El desarrollo y destino de celulas vegetales se altera tratando las celulas con factores de reprogramacion celular. Se usan genes de desarrollo morfogenicos inductores de embriogenesis como factores de reprogramacion celular, que comprenden especificamente polipeptidos o polinucleotidos que codifican para productos genicos para generar haploides duplicados o plantas haploides a partir de gametos. Las microsporas de maiz tratadas poniendo en contacto las celulas aisladas con un gen de desarrollo morfogenico inductor de embriogenesis exogeno, purificado, recombinante dan como resultado embriogenesis.
