Abstract
Se proporcionan componentes y estructuras para una celda electroquimica recargable y una celda electroquimica que tiene un electrolito basado en un disolvente SO2, que comprende cualquiera de dichos componentes y estructuras. El catodo puede comprender uno o mas metales de transicion elementales y/o uno o mas metales de transicion parcialmente oxidados. El electrolito basado en un disolvente SO2, puede comprender un aditivo de sal que contiene haluros como un aditivo formador de SEI. El colector de corriente anodica puede comprender un metal revestido de carbono, una aleacion de dos o mas metales o una aleacion revestida de carbono de dos o mas metales. La celda electroquimica puede comprender exceso de haluros alcalinos solidos/no disueltos. Los componentes, las estructuras y la celda pueden utilizarse en un dispositivo.
