Abstract
Referida a un proceso para preparar un catalizador de sintesis de hidrocarburo conteniendo cobalto incluye, en una etapa de formacion de carburo, tratar un precursor del catalizador inicial que comprende un soporte de catalizador que soporta cobalto y/o un compuesto de cobalto, con un gas que contiene CO a una temperatura T1. El T1 es de 200°C a 280°C. El cobalto o el compuesto de cobalto se convierte en un carburo de cobalto obteniendo de este modo un precursor de catalizador que contiene carburo de cobalto. El gas que contiene CO (cuando contiene H2) no tiene una proporcion molar de CO a H2 igual a o menos de 33:1. La etapa de formacion de carburo se realiza bajo condiciones no oxidativas. En una posterior etapa de activacion, el precursor del catalizador que contiene carburo de cobalto se somete a tratamiento con un gas que contiene hidrogeno a una temperatura T2. La T2 es por lo menos 300°C. El carburo de cobalto se convierte en metal de cobalto activando de este modo el precursor del catalizador que contiene carburo de cobalto y obteniendo un catalizador de sintesis de hidrocarburo conteniendo cobalto
