Abstract

Un proceso para preparar un catalizador de síntesis de hidrocarburos que contiene cobalto incluye calcinar un precursor de catalizador inicial que comprende un soporte de catalizador que soporta un compuesto de cobalto tratar con calor el precursor de catalizador inicial en condiciones no reductoras a fin de descomponer el compuesto de cobalto y/o hacer que el compuesto de cobalto reaccione con oxígeno, con lo cual se obtiene un precursor de catalizador inicial calcinado. Un compuesto de cobalto se introduce sobre y/o dentro del precursor de catalizador inicial calcinado de modo que el precursor de catalizador inicial calcinado soporta este compuesto de cobalto, con lo cual se obtiene un precursor de catalizador subsiguiente. El precursor de catalizador subsiguiente se somete directamente a condiciones de reducción para activar el precursor de catalizador subsiguiente, con lo cual se obtiene un catalizador de síntesis de hidrocarburos que contiene cobalto.
