Abstract

La invencion describe una composicion para prevenir o tratar la hiperlipidemia, el higado graso o la arterioesclerosis que comprende un derivado de oxintomodulina como ingrediente activo. El derivado de oxintomodulina tiene una gran capacidad para activar el receptor de GLP-1 y el receptor de glucagon en comparacion con la oxintomodulina nativa y tiene los efectos de reducir los niveles de colesterol en sangre, de colesterol de baja densidad y de trigliceridos que se elevan por las dietas con alto contenido en grasas y de aumentar los niveles de colesterol de alta densidad y la relacion entre el colesterol de alta y baja densidad. Por lo tanto, el derivado de oxintomodulina puede ser eficazmente usado para el tratamiento de la hiperlipidemia y de las enfermedades relacionadas
