EL PROCESO IMPLICA OXIDAR UN INTERMEDIO DE SULFURO DE CALCIO EN UNA SERIE DE REACTORES PARA PRODUCIR TIOSULFATO DE CALCIO COMO UN LIQUIDO TRANSPARENTE A ALTA CONCENTRACION CON SUBPRODUCTOS MINIMOS. EL PROCESO PRODUCE LA DESTRUCCION COMPLETA DE POLITIONATOS, LO QUE PERMITE QUE EL TIOSULFATO DE CALCIO PRODUCIDO SEA UTIL EN CIERTOS PROCESOS DE LIXIVIACION PARA METALES PRECIOSOSREFERS TO A PROCESS FOR THE CONTINUOUS PREPARATION OF CALCIUM THOSULFATE FROM CALCIUM SULFIDE, BY OXIDATION. THE PROCESS INVOLVES OXIDIZING A CALCIUM SULFIDE INTERMEDIATE IN A SERIES OF REACTORS TO PRODUCE CALCIUM THIOSULFATE AS A TRANSPARENT LIQUID AT HIGH CONCENTRATION WITH MINIMUM BY-PRODUCTS. THE PROCESS PRODUCES THE COMPLETE DESTRUCTION OF POLYTHIONATES, WHICH ALLOWS THE PRODUCED CALCIUM THOSULFATE TO BE USEFUL IN CERTAIN LEACHING PROCESSES FOR PRECIOUS METALS
