EL METODO CONSISTE EN: a) FORMAR UNA CAPA DE TRANSMISION SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DE CONTACTO DE LA BARRA COLECTORA, LLAMADA TAMBIEN BARRA COMPENSADORA POTENCIAL; b) REVESTIR LA SUPERFICIE DE CONTACTO CON UN METAL ALTAMENTE ELECTROCONDUCTOR, MEDIANTE TECNICA DE SOLDADURA, DE ASPERSION, O DE COMBUSTION DE GAS, EN DONDE EL MATERIAL DEL REVESTIMIENTO FORMA UN EMPALME METALURGICO CON EL COBRE Y LA CAPA DE TRANSMISION; Y, c) SOMETER LA SUPERFICIE DE CONTACTO A TRATAMIENTO POR CALOR DESPUES DEL REVESTIMIENTO. THE METHOD CONSISTS OF: a) FORMING A TRANSMISSION LAYER ON THE CONTACT SURFACE OF THE BUS BAR, ALSO CALLED A POTENTIAL COMPENSATOR BAR; b) COATING THE CONTACT SURFACE WITH A HIGHLY ELECTROCONDUCTIVE METAL, BY WELDING, SPRAYING, OR GAS COMBUSTION TECHNIQUE, WHERE THE COATING MATERIAL FORMS A METALLURGICAL JOINT WITH COPPER AND TRANSMISSION LAYER; AND, c) SUBMIT THE CONTACT SURFACE TO HEAT TREATMENT AFTER COATING. THE TRANSMISSION LAYER IS MADE OF TIN OR AN ALLOY WITH HIGH CONTENT OF TIN. THE COATING LAYER IS SILVER OR SILVER-COPPER ALLOY, AND IS FORMED OVER THE NOTCHED AND GROOVED AREAS OF THE BUSBAR. COATING MATERIAL IS IN SPRAY OR WIRE FORM
