Claims (9)
- 연속 주조에 의해 제조된 강과 같은 금속 제품중의 불순물을 조사하기 위한 시편의 제조 방법에 있어서, 초음파에 의해 불순물을 표시하여 그 분포를 조사하기 위해, 초음파 검사에 적합한 시편 두께의 10배 이상의 두께를 가지고, 그 두께 방향의 연장부가 주조 축 또는 변형의 연장부에 평면적으로 평행한 절단면을 가지는 예비 시편을 주물 제품 또는 변형 가공된 제품으로 부터 절단하는 단계, 및 상기 예비 시편을 고온의 변형 가공 온도로 가열하여 상기 두께 방향의 연장부를 횡단하는 방향을 따라 적절한 시편 두께로 변형 가공하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 불순물 조사용 시편 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 예비 시편은 그 두께 방향의 연장부를 따라 하나 이상의 표식부를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 만곡 연속 주조 장치에 의해 제조된 주물 제품의 경우, 상기 표식부는 주물의 하측부에 해당하는 측부상에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 표식부가 있는 측부의 반대편 측부에서 상기 시편으로 부터 스트립형 시편이 절취되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 압연에 의한 열간 변형 가공은, 1) 두께 방향의 연장부를 가로지르는 방향으로 이 방향을 유지하면서 예비 시편을 초기 두께의 절반으로 압연하는 단계, 2) 압연 평면에서 상기 예비 시편을 90°회전시키는 단계, 3) 압연 방향을 유지하면서 예비 시편을 본 단계의 압연 시작시의 두께의 1/5로 추가 압연하는 단계, 4) 압연된 시편 판재로 부터 스트립형 시편을 절취하는 단계에 의해 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 예비 시편의 압연은 주조 제품의 하측부로 부터 상측부를 연결하는 수직선 방향으로 상기 두께 방향의 연장부를 가로질러 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 변형 가공은 1100℃를 넘는 온도에서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 원형 횡단면을 가진 제품으로 부터 제작된 시편의 경우, 조사용 시편은 횡단면의 장축의 정상부 영역에서 절취되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 강의 경우, 상기 변형 가공은 1350℃에서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
