본 발명은 무정형산화물인 거대다공성 지지체상에 염화제2구리를 포함하는 흡착제를 사용하여, 가스혼합물로부터 일산화탄소를 흡착분리시키는 조성물, 그것의 합성 및 그 분리방법에 관한 것이다. 그 조성물은, 지지체상에 제1구리화합물을 침지시킨후 제1구리 화합물을 상응하는 제2구리화합물로 환원시키므로써 제조된다. 환원은 150℃이하의 비교적 낮은 온도에서 환원가스, 바람직하게는 합성가스를 사용하므로써 수행될 수 있으며, 250℃이상의 승온을 먼저 사용하는 것이 바람직하다. 본 발명에 기술된 흡착제는 모두 알루미나 및 실리카겔을 포함하는 거대다공성 지지체 물질위에 지지된 유한 크기의 CuCl입자들로 이루어진다. 지지된 CuCI미림자를 형성하기 위해 사용된 성분들 중에는 낮은 분산력, 높은 구리하중, 무 분산체 및 적당한 후열-처리를 한 지지체물질들이 있다. 활성화합물(즉CuCl입자)의 벌크성 및 탈착시 수득된 히스테리시스는 압력스윙 흡착 분리공정을 위해 높은 작업용량 및 높은 선택성을 갖는 흡착제를 제공한다.

Description

히스테리시스를 갖는 보조 흡착제
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 일산화탄소 흡착전(a)과 후(b)의 Cu/SiO2 흡착제에 대한 X-선 회절유형이다, 제2도는 히스테리시스(hysteresis)를 보여주는 30℃ 및 50℃에서의 Cu/SiO2 흡착제의 대한 일산화탄소 등온선이다, 제3도는 히스테리시스를 보여주는 30℃에서의 Cu/Al2O3 흡착제에 대한 일산화탄소 등온선이다.

Claims (21)

  1. 무정형 산화물의 거대다공성 지지체상에 지지된 약1내지 100nm범위의 크기를 갖는 염화제2구리 입자들을 포함하는, 일산화탄소 함유가스혼합물로부터 일산화탄소를 선택적으로 흡착하기 위한 흡착제.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 염화제2구리 입자들이 결정질인 흡착제.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 입자들의 크기가 약 16내지 51nm범위인 흡착제.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 무정형 산화물이 알루미나, 실리카, 실리카-알루미나 및 그 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 흡착제
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 거대다공성 지지체가 약50내지 150Å범위의 평균 기공 크기를 갖는 흡착제.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 거대다공성 지지체가 약 100내지 600㎡/g범위의 표면적을 갖는 흡착제.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 염화제1구리 용액과 상기 지지체를 접촉시켜서 지지체상에 염화제1구리로 환원하므로써 제조된 흡착제.
  8. 약 50내지 150Å의 평균 기공 크기를 갖는 무정형 산화물의 거대다공성 지지체 위에 지지된 약 1내지 100nm크기의 염화제2구리 결정질 입자들을 포함하며, 염화제1구리용액과 상기 지지체를 접촉시키고, 용매를 제거하고, 함침된 지지체를 200℃이상으로 가열하고, 상기 염화제1구리를 염화제2구리로 환원시키므로써 제조되는, 일산화탄소, 및 이산화탄소, 메탄 및 질소로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 1종이상의 기타가스를 함유하는 가스혼합물로부터 일산화탄소를 선택적으로 흡착하기위한 흡착제.
  9. 일산화탄소 함유 가스 혼합물로부터 일산화탄소를 선택적으로 흡착하기 위한, 무정형 산화물의 거대다공성 지지체위에 지지된 약 1내지 100nm 크기의 염화제2구리 입자로 이루어진 흡착제를 합성하는 방법으로서, 지지체를 염화제1구리용액과 접촉시켜서 지지체상에 염화제1구리를 침지시키는 단계, 용매를 제거하는 단계, 침지된 지지체를 200℃이상으로 가열하는 단계 및 상기 염화제1구리를 염화제2구리로 환원시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 용매를 약 100℃이상의 온도에서건조에 의해 제거하는 방법.
  11. 제9항에 있어서, 250℃의 온도에서 가열을 수행하는 방법.
  12. 제11항에 있어서,질소 및 공기로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 분위기에서 가열을 수행하는 방법.
  13. 제9항에 있어서, 420℃의 온도에서 가열을 수행하는 방법.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 질소 및 공기로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 분위기에서 가열을 수행하는 방법.
  15. 제9항에 있어서, 수소, 일산화탄소 및 합성가스로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 환원제를 사용하여 상기 염화제1구리를 환원시키는 방법.
  16. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 염화제1구리를 상기 지지체중량에 대한 구리의 중량을 기준으로 15중량%이상의 하중으로 상기 지지체 위에 침지하는 방법.
  17. 하기 (1)내지 (3)단계를 포함하여 일산화탄소 및, 이산화탄소, 메탄 및 질소로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 1종이상의 기타 가스들을 함유하는 가스 혼합물로부터 일산화탄소를 선택적으로 분리하는 방법: (1)무정형 산화물의 거대다공성 지지체상에 지지된 약 1내지 100nm 크기의 염화제2구리 입자를 포함하는 흡착제와 가스혼합물을 접촉시키는 단계, (2)상기 흡착제 상에 일산화탄소를 선택적으로 흡착시키는 단계, 및 (3)상기 흡착제로부터 상기 일산화탄소를 따로 탈착시켜서 상기 일산화탄소를 회수하는 단계.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, 상기 염화제2구리가 결정질인 방법.
  19. 제18항에 있어서, 상기 염화제2구리 결정질입자가 상기 일산화탄소와 상변화를 진행하여 흡착중, 염화제2구리-일산화탄소 결정을 형성하는 방법.
  20. 제19항에 있어서, 상기 염화제2구리-일산화탄소 결정이 낮은 압력에서 상기 일산화탄소를 탈착하는 동안 상변화를 진행하여 염화제2구리 결정질 입자를 형성하는 방법.
  21. 제17항에 있어서, 상기 가스혼합물을 상기 흡착제의 1개이상의 베드에 하기(a)내지 (e)단계를 포함하는 연속적인 단계들로서 통과시키는 방법; (a)상기 흡착제의 베드중에서 상기 가스 혼합물로부터 일산화탄소를 흡착하는 단계, (b)흡착후, 흡착제의 상기 베드를 탈착시키는 단계, (c)흡착제의 상기 베드를 일산화탄소로 퍼즈하는 단계, (d)흡착제의 상기 베드를 배기시켜서 일산화탄소를 회수하는 단계, 및 (e)흡착제의 상기 베드내로 가스를 통과시키므로써 흡착 압력으로 흡착제의 베드를 재가압시키는 단계.
