- (a) 약 0.5 내지 3몰%의 시트르산을 함유하는 덱스트로스를 분해점 아래의 온도에서 용융시키고, 상기 용융된 혼합물을 실질적인 중합이 일어날 때 까지 실질적으로 물의 부재하에 140 내지 295℃의 온도 및 감압에서 유지시키며, 동시에 상기 중합도중에 형성된 물을 제거하며; (b) 생성된 생성물의 농축된 수용액을 흡착 수지 또는 약염기성 이온교환수지에 통과시키고, 실질적으로 물이 존재하지 않는 폴리글루코스를 회수하는 단계를 포함하는, 수평균 분자량이 1,500 내지 18,000이고 0.1몰% 미만의 유리 시트르산 및 약 0.01 내지 0.3몰%의 에스테르 그룹의 형태로 결합된 시트르산을 함유하는, 주로 1→6 결합인 수용성 고-분지형 폴리덱스트로스의 제조방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 덱스트로스가 그의 일수화물 형태이고, 소르비톨은 약 8 내지 12중량%로 혼입시키며, 중합시 시트르산의 수준은 약 0.7 내지 1.3몰%인 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 수지가 약염기성 이온교환수지인 방법.
