Claims (25)
- 유리된 또는 결합된 형태의 몰리브덴, 텅스텐, 및 레늄으로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된 최소한 하나의 원소 ; 유리된 또는 결합된 형태의 알칼리 또는 알칼리 토류 원소로 이루어진 촉진제 ; 및 임의 성분인 지지체로 이루어진 촉매의 존재하에 수소와 일산화탄소를 접촉반응시켜, 최소한 약 20%의 CO2-비함유 탄소 선택도로, 모터 가솔린 범위내에서 비등하는 알코올 유분을 형성시킴을 특징으로 하여 알코올을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 일산화탄소에 대한 수소의 몰비가 약 0.7 내지 약 3인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 조작압력이 약 1500psig(10.3MPa) 내지 약 4000psig(27.6MPa)인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 조작온도가 약 240℃ 내지 약 325℃인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, H2/CO 가스의 시간당 공간 속도가 약 300 내지 약 5000h-1인 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 최소한 일부의 미전환 수소 및/또는 일산화탄소 공급물을 반응 시스템내로 재순환 시키는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 형성된 알코올 유분 및 어떠한 탄화수소도, 재순환시키기 전 재순환된 공급물에서 거의 분리시키는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 이산화탄소를 재순환시키기 전 재순환된 공급물에서 거의 분리시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알코올 유분에 메탄을 약 20 내지 약 70중량%가 함유된 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알코올 유분에 에탄올 최소한 약 15중량%가 함유된 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 알코올 유분에 C5+알코올 약 5중량% 미만이 함유된 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알코올 유분의 증류 종말점이 225℃ 이하인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 최소한 20%의 CO2-비함유 탄소 선택도로 C1-C8알코올-함유 알코올 유분을 형성시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 최소한 약 20%의 CO2-비함유 탄소 선택도로 C1-C4알코올-함유 알코올 유분을 형성시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 시간당 그리고 촉매 중량부당 약 0.1중량부 이상의 비율로 알코올 유분을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 지지체가 존재하며 이 지지체가 중성 또는 염기성이거나 알칼리성 촉진제의 첨가에 의해 중성 또는 염기성으로 되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉진제가 유리된 또는 결합된 형태의 나트륨 또는 칼륨으로 주로 이루어진 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉진제가 전체 촉매내에 유리 원소로서 최소한 약 0.5중량%의 수준으로 존재하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매에 몰리브덴이 함유된 방법.
- 제19항에 있어서, 몰리브덴이 유리 원소로서, 또는 원소의 카보닐, 설파이드, 카바이드 또는 산화물로서, 또는 이들의 혼합물로서 존재하는 방법.
- 제20항에 있어서, 몰리브덴이 설파이드로서 존재하는 방법.
