Abstract

Description

COMMODITY TRANSACTION SYSTEM USING ELECTRONIC GIFT

The present invention relates to a product transaction system using an electronic gift certificate.

A gift certificate is a type of ticket that contains a certain amount of money or the value of a product, and is used by businesses as a means to promote and induce purchases of their products. These gift certificates have been used mainly in the form of paper, usually printed on paper.

Recently, electronic gift certificates known as gift coupons, gift shows, etc. have been issued and distributed to enable online purchase and use of gift certificates. These electronic gift certificates can be purchased and used online, and are easy to gift to others using wired and wireless networks, so they are being widely used.

Generally, when an electronic gift certificate is issued, a unique random number consisting of at least one of a number and a letter is assigned to the issued electronic gift certificate, and an image of the electronic gift certificate displaying at least one of the assigned random number and a random number displayed in the form of a barcode or QR code is provided to the user's terminal.

However, the format of the random number assigned to the electronic gift certificate is already widely known, and since the random number is generally not encrypted separately when issuing the electronic gift certificate and is displayed as is on the electronic gift certificate, there was a problem that the electronic gift certificate was easy to counterfeit and used without authorization.

In addition, there was a problem in that it was difficult to check whether an issued electronic gift certificate had been used unless the user visited the store and presented the electronic gift certificate. As a result, when electronic gift certificates were traded between individuals, there was a problem in that individual sellers provided already-used electronic gift certificates to individual buyers, and even though individual buyers had purchased electronic gift certificates, they could not use them.

The purpose of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems, and to provide a product transaction system using electronic gift certificates that enables changes to the status information of electronic gift certificates using a unique address and access authority token so as to prevent damage caused by forgery and unauthorized use of electronic gift certificates.

The purpose of the present invention is not limited to the purposes mentioned above, and other purposes not mentioned can be clearly understood from the description below.

The product transaction system using electronic gift certificates according to embodiments of the present invention with the above-described configuration can expect the following effects.

When an electronic gift certificate is created, the unique address generated is encrypted using a private key and printed in the form of a QR code. When the electronic gift certificate is distributed, the unique address contained in the QR code can only be decrypted using the public key provided by the electronic gift certificate creator. Therefore, it can have the effect of proving the issuer/original proof in the same way as an electronic signature.

By encrypting and decrypting the unique address generated when an electronic gift certificate is created using a private key and public key, and changing the status information of the electronic gift certificate using a composite address generated based on the unique address, access authority token, and request code, unauthorized use and forgery of the electronic gift certificate can be prevented.

In fact, unlike conventional electronic gift certificates that are issued with random numbers from a pool of 7 to 8 digits, the present invention generates a unique address based on a virtually infinite number pool, thereby enabling access to a website that displays status information on electronic gift certificates, thereby allowing the user to check whether the electronic gift certificate is available for use without worrying about theft of the unique address.

The unique address encrypted with a private key and printed in the form of a QR code can be printed not only on digital images but also on physical objects, so it can replace paper gift certificates with anti-counterfeiting technology applied, and furthermore, it can be used as an integrated online/offline payment method with no boundaries between paper gift certificates and electronic gift certificates.

The processing of electronic gift certificates according to conventional technology is limited to POS or designated Internet homepages, whereas by applying the encryption using a public key and the access authority token method according to the present invention, only a composite address that is encrypted with a public key and can be decrypted only with a private key is transmitted, thereby reducing concerns about communication security, and there is an advantage in that the processing of electronic gift certificates can be processed on various desired terminals without restrictions on the communication network.

In the present invention, since the private key is stored in the integrated server, the access authority token and the request code are distributed to the first terminal, and the unique address is distributed to the second terminal, there is an advantage in that the key storage problem does not occur on the side of the owners of the first and second terminals throughout the entire issuance-payment process.

When the status information of an electronic gift certificate changes, a notification corresponding to the changed status information is sent to the first terminal and the second terminal, thereby enabling the user to recognize that the status information of the electronic gift certificate has changed.

The access authority token provided to the first terminal is given a preset expiration date, and when the expiration date has passed, a new access authority token is provided to the first terminal, thereby reducing the burden of third-party granting of payment authority or theft of authority through access authority token leakage, and making management easier.

A product transaction system using an electronic gift certificate according to one embodiment of the present invention may include an integrated server (10), a first terminal (20), and a second terminal (30).
