Claims (24)
- 제1 RAN(radio access network)으로부터 제2 RAN으로의 핸드오버 동안에 QoS(quality of service) 파라미터 매핑하는 방법으로서, 상기 제1 RAN과 상기 제2 RAN 중 하나는 non-GBR(non-guaranteed bit rate) 베어러에 대한 AMBR(aggregated maximum bit rate)을 지원하지 않고, 상기 제1 RAN은 적어도 하나의 APN(access point name)과 통신하는 것인, QoS 파라미터 매핑 방법에 있어서,
상기 제1 RAN의 제1 APN과 연관된 PDP(packet data protocol) 컨텍스트의 최대 비트 레이트(MBR; maximum bit rate)에 기초하여 APN-AMBR(APN aggregated maximum bit rate)을 유도하는 단계,
기입된(subscribed) UE-AMBR[UE(user equipment) agrregated maximum bit rate]이 UE(사용자 장치)에 이용가능할 때까지 로컬(local) UE-AMBR을 제공하는 단계,
상기 기입된 UE-AMBR를 획득하는 단계,
상기 기입된 UE-AMBR의 최소값 및 상기 UE와 연관된 모든 액티브 상태의 APN들의 모든 APN-AMBR들의 합을 구함으로써, 유도된 UE-AMBR을 계산하는 단계,
상기 유도된 UE-AMBR과 상기 로컬 UE-AMBR을 비교하는 단계, 및
상기 로컬 UE-AMBR이 상기 유도된 UE-AMBR과 다르다면, 상기 유도된 UE-AMBR을 통지하기 위해, 기입된 QoS 변경 절차를 개시하는 단계
를 포함하는 QoS 파라미터 매핑 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 로컬 UE-AMBR은 유도된 APN-AMBR의 합에 기초하는 것인 QoS 파라미터 매핑 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 로컬 UE-AMBR은 상기 UE의 내부 설정(configuration)에 기초하는 것인 QoS 파라미터 매핑 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 RAN은 UTRAN(universal terrestrial radio access network)/GERAN[GSM(global system for mobiles) EDGE(enhanced data for GSM evolution) radio access network]을 포함하고, 상기 제2 RAN은 E-UTRAN(evolved universal terrestrial radio access network)을 포함하는 것인 QoS 파라미터 매핑 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기입된 QoS 변경 절차는 기입된 APN-AMBR들의 제2 통지를 추가로 제공하는 것인 QoS 파라미터 매핑 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 통지는 eNB(enhanced node-B)에 제공되고 상기 제2 통지는 서빙 게이트웨이 및 패킷 데이터 네트워크 게이트웨이에 제공되는 것인 QoS 파라미터 매핑 방법.

상기 유도된 UE-AMBR과 상기 로컬 UE-AMBR을 비교하며,
상기 로컬 UE-AMBR이 상기 유도된 UE-AMBR과 다르다면, 상기 유도된 UE-AMBR을 통지하기 위해, 기입된 QoS 변경 절차를 개시하도록
구성된 것인, QoS 파라미터 매핑 제공 디바이스. - 제13항에 있어서, 상기 로컬 UE-AMBR은 유도된 APN-AMBR의 합에 기초하는 것인 QoS 파라미터 매핑 제공 디바이스.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 로컬 UE-AMBR은 상기 UE의 내부 설정(configuration)에 기초하는 것인 QoS 파라미터 매핑 제공 디바이스.
