Description
Claims (3)
- 입사하는 광을 집광하는 제1콜리메이터;집광된 광을 서로 다른 편광상태를 갖는 두 광으로 분리하는 제1복굴절 소자;인가되는 자기장의 세기에 따라 상기 제1복굴절 소자로부터 입사되는 두 광의 편광면을 회전시키고, 회전된 편광면에 따라 아이솔레이션 정도를 다르게하는 지는 패러데이 회전자;상기 패러데이 회전자에서 출력되는 두 광을 다시 하나의 광으로 합하는 제2복굴절 소자; 및상기 제2복굴절 소자로부터 출력되는 광을 집광하여 출력하는 제2콜리메이터를 구비하는 아이솔레이터;상기 패러데이 회전자에 자기장을 공급하도록 상기 아이솔레이터에 장착되는 코일; 및상기 코일에 전류를 공급하는 전원공급기를 포함함을 특징으로하는 아이솔레이터를 이용한 광 감쇠기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코일은자속을 증가시키도록 상기 코일의 내부에 마그네틱 코아를 더 구비함을 특징으로하는 아이솔레이터를 이용한 광 감쇠기.
- 광 송신기, 제1광 감쇠기, 제2광 감쇠기 및 광 수신기를 구비하고, 상기 제1광 감쇠기를 통해 상기 광 송신기의 출력 광신호 파워를 조절하고, 상기 제2광 감쇠기를 통해 상기 광 수신기에서 수신될 광신호 파워를 감쇠하여 상기 광 수신기의 손상을 방지하는 광통신 시스템에 있어서, 상기 두 광 감쇠기는입사하는 광을 집광하는 제1콜리메이터;집광된 광을 서로 다른 편광상태를 갖는 두 광으로 분리하는 제1복굴절 소자;인가되는 자기장의 세기에 따라 상기 제1복굴절 소자로부터 입사되는 두 광의 편광면을 회전시키고, 회전된 편광면에 따라 아이솔레이션 정도를 다르게하는 패러데이 회전자;상기 패러데이 회전자에서 출력되는 두 광을 다시 하나의 광으로 합하는 제2복굴절 소자; 및상기 제2복굴절 소자로부터 출력되는 광을 집광하여 출력하는 제2콜리메이터를 구비하는 아이솔레이터;상기 패러데이 회전자에 자기장을 공급하도록 상기 아이솔레이터에 장착되는 코일; 및상기 코일에 전류를 공급하는 전원공급기를 포함함을 특징으로하는 아이솔레이터를 이용한 광 감쇠기를 구비하는 광통신 시스템.
