Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent air from sucking at the time of a variation of an oil level, by a method wherein an oil reservoir in which a suction duct is opened is provided underneath a casing through an air gap in a protruded manner, and the inside of the oil reservoir and the inside of the casing are connected with each other through an opening having a small diameter. CONSTITUTION:An oil reservoir 10 provided with a cooling fin 9 on its external circumference is provided underneath a case 6 in a protruded manner through an air gap 11, in a device absorbing lubricant stored in the bottom of an engine casing 6 and supplying the lubricant to a lubricator by an oil pump 7. This casing 6 and the reservoir 10 are connected with each other through an opening 8 having a small diameter, and a suction duct 12 connecting with a suction opening of an oil pump 7 is extended into the oil reservoir through the above opening 8. When the surface of oil sways large a wave is inhibited small with this device in the reservoir 10, the suction duct 12 can be prevented from exposing out of the surface of the oil and air suction is prevented. The lubricant is cooled by the cooling fin 9 etc. and can be led to the lubricator.
