It is possible to illuminate a small surface locally, but the price is expensive. In addition, even if a plurality of point light sources are arranged side by side to irradiate a required area, there is a drawback that there is physically a gas-filled material wall between the light sources as an adverse effect for making the light uniform. . Recently, there are various pulsed lasers such as excimer lasers as pulsed light sources. However, in the case of lasers, the beam size is small, so in order to irradiate a required area, the beam must be scanned while irradiating the beam. In addition, since the energy density of the beam is not constant, it is extremely difficult to obtain a uniform irradiation density, and there are drawbacks such that the apparatus itself is expensive.

The basic structure consists of an anode, a plurality of cathodes, and a plurality of trigger electrodes for promoting light emission. Further, a capacitor having a predetermined capacity and a power supply are prepared as an external configuration for emitting a light source. The anode, the cathode, and the trigger electrode forming each pair are arranged in one row or a plurality of rows at intervals such that voltage does not leak to an adjacent electrode between combinations of these electrodes. The arranged electrodes are connected to an external capacitor or a power source so that the electrodes can be fired at the same time, and light is emitted at a required time.

By moving an object irradiated with light, it is possible to irradiate a wide area on the surface. It can be used as an application to carry out surface modification of woven fabrics or to physically or optically change a wide surface of a polymeric material.

使用できるものである。Further, as a further development of FIG. 1, by arranging the anode, the cathode and the trigger electrode in a plurality of rows so as to irradiate a wider plane, the object to be irradiated with light is continuously irradiated. In the case of moving, it is possible to irradiate the same place with light multiple times, or if the object that irradiates light has intermittent motion, it is possible to irradiate a large area at the same time and to irradiate light with multiple times. It can be used for devices that can adjust the amount of accumulation.

可能ならしめるものである。As described above, the conventional irradiation of a large area has various drawbacks in the pulse light source, but by using the above-mentioned pulse light source, a completely new concept that neither a point light source nor a laser is used. Therefore, it is possible to provide a simple light source as a means capable of irradiating a large area in a pulsed manner.
