Claims (3)
- 互いに係合する一対のハウジングにそれぞれ端子を収容するキャビティが形成され、前記キャビティの開口から前記キャビティ内に水が浸入するのを防止するコネクタの防水構造において、
前記一対のハウジングは、それぞれ前記開口を包囲して互いに嵌合する樹脂製の筒状体が突出して設られ、
内側の前記筒状体の嵌合面には、外側の前記筒状体の嵌合面に接する突起が全周にわたって設けられ、
前記突起は、前記ハウジング又は内側の前記筒状体の内壁に支持されて前記開口を形成する部材よりも内側の前記筒状体の先端側に設けられ、
前記一対のハウジングの一方の前記ハウジングは、他方の前記ハウジングの外側に嵌合されるフード部を有し、該フード部の内側に位置させて外側の前記筒状体が形成され、
外側の前記筒状体と前記フード部の間には、該外側の前記筒状体の先端部が拡径方向に弾性変形可能な空間が形成されてなることを特徴とするコネクタの防水構造。 - 前記突起は、前記開口を形成する部材よりも設定寸法だけ前記先端側に離れて設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコネクタの防水構造。
- 前記突起は、内側の前記筒状体の軸方向の断面が半円弧状又は台形状に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタの防水構造。
