Description
図1は、実施の形態1に従った電動過給機を有する動力装置のシステム図である。図1で示すように、動力装置1は、エンジン510と、エンジンからの排気を用いて吸気を過給するターボチャージャー520と、ターボチャージャー520から送られた吸気をさらに加圧する電動過給機530とを備える。
図8は、実施の形態2に従った電動過給機を有する動力装置のシステム図である。図8で示すように、実施の形態2に従った電動過給機530では、空気通路30hは、空気通路30hの延在方向にバイパス通路30eの入口301eが対向配置されるようにコンプレッサハウジング30に設けられる点で、実施の形態1に従った電動過給機530と異なる。実施の形態2においても、EGR通路30aの下端303aはコンプレッサホイール31の入口側開口部の下端350よりも鉛直方向の下側にオフセットして設けられる。さらにバイパス通路30eの入口301eの下端303eはコンプレッサホイール31の入口側開口部の下端350よりも鉛直方向の下側にオフセットして設けられる。
Claims (4)
- モータで回転するコンプレッサホイールと、
前記コンプレッサホイールを収納するコンプレッサハウジングと、を備え、
前記コンプレッサハウジングは、
空気を導入する第一通路と、
内燃機関の排出ガスの一部をEGRガスとして吸気通路に還流するEGR装置が接続される導入口と、
前記コンプレッサホイールで圧縮された、空気およびEGRガスの少なくともいずれかを内燃機関に送る第二通路と、
前記コンプレッサホイールで圧縮される前の、空気およびEGRガスの少なくともいずれかを前記コンプレッサホイールを経由せずに内燃機関に送るバイパス通路と、
前記バイパス通路を開閉するバイパス弁と、を備え、
前記第一通路から導入された空気および前記導入口から導入されたEGRガスは、
前記バイパス弁が開いているときには前記バイパス通路を経由して内燃機関に送られ、
前記バイパス弁が閉じているときには前記コンプレッサホイールで圧縮されて前記第二通路を介して内燃機関に送られる、電動過給機。 - 前記導入口の下端は前記コンプレッサホイールの入口側開口部の下端よりも鉛直方向の下側にオフセットして設けられる、請求項1に記載の電動過給機。
- 前記バイパス通路の入口の下端は前記コンプレッサホイールの入口側開口部の下端よりも鉛直方向の下側にオフセットして設けられる、請求項1または2に記載の電動過給機。
- 前記第一通路は、前記第一通路の延在方向に前記バイパス通路の入口が対向配置されるように前記コンプレッサハウジングに設けられる、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の電動過給機。
