Description
Claims (9)
- 直列および/または並列に接続された複数の電池モジュールを有している電池回路と、
前記電池回路に直列に接続された回路保護ユニットと、を備え、
前記回路保護ユニットは、前記電池回路に直列に接続されたリレーおよび電流検出ユニットと、前記リレーを制御するために前記リレーに接続されたスイッチングユニットと、前記スイッチングユニットおよび前記電流検出ユニットに接続されたコントローラと、を備え、
前記スイッチングユニットは、直列に接続された第1のMOSFETおよび第2のMOSFETを備え、
前記コントローラは、過負荷保護に対応する第1の出力端子および短絡保護に対応する第2の出力端子を備え、
前記第1および第2のMOSFETのグリッド電極は、前記コントローラの第1及び第2の出力端子にそれぞれ接続され、
前記電流検出ユニットは、前記リレーを通過する電流値を検出し、
前記コントローラは、前記電流検出ユニットによって検出される電流値を、第1の所定の電流値と比較することに基づいて、前記スイッチングユニットのオンまたはオフの切り換えを制御し、
前記スイッチングユニットは、電流が前記第1の所定の電流値よりも大きい値を有しかつ第1の所定の期間にわたって続く場合に、前記リレーがオフへと切り換えられるように、前記コントローラの制御のもとで前記第1のMOSFETがオフにされることにより、オフへと切り換えられ、
前記スイッチングユニットは、前記電流検出ユニットによって検出される電流が前記第1の所定の電流値よりも大きい第2の所定の電流値よりも大きい値を有しかつ第2の所定の期間にわたって続く場合に、前記リレーがオフへと切り換えられるように、前記コントローラの制御のもとで前記第2のMOSFETがオフにされることにより、オフへと切り換えられる動力用電池アセンブリ。 - 前記リレー、前記コントローラ、および前記電流検出ユニットに電力を供給するための電源をさらに備え、
前記スイッチングユニットは、前記電源と前記リレーとの間に直列に接続されている請求項1に記載の動力用電池アセンブリ。 - 前記リレー、前記コントローラ、および前記電流検出ユニットは、前記複数の電池モジュールのうちの少なくとも1つの電池モジュールに電力を供給され、
前記スイッチングユニットは、前記複数の電池モジュールのうちの前記少なくとも1つの電池モジュールと前記リレーとの間に直列に接続されている請求項1に記載の動力用電池アセンブリ。 - 前記電流検出ユニットは、ホールセンサである請求項1に記載の動力用電池アセンブリ。
- 前記ホールセンサは、該ホールセンサを介して前記リレーを前記電池回路に接続する第1のリードを通す貫通穴を有して形成された第1のリード支持部材と、前記貫通穴と該貫通穴を通過する前記第1のリードとの間に設けられる第1の弾性ワッシャと、を備える請求項4に記載の動力用電池アセンブリ。
- 前記電池モジュールを支持する電池支持トレイと、前記リレーを前記電池回路に接続する第2のリードを支持および固定するためのリード支持ブラケットと、をさらに備え、
前記リード支持ブラケットは、前記電池支持トレイ上に支持される請求項1に記載の動力用電池アセンブリ。 - 前記リード支持ブラケットは、前記電池支持トレイ上に固定されるベースと、前記ベースに固定された下側半リングと、それぞれに形成されたフランジを介して前記下側半リングと結合する上側半リングと、前記第2のリードと前記結合した下側および上側半リングによって形成される開口との間に設けられる第2の弾性ワッシャと、を備える請求項6に記載の動力用電池アセンブリ。
- 前記回路保護ユニットと前記電池回路との間に、電気的に直列に接続されるスイッチを備える請求項1に記載の動力用電池アセンブリ。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の動力用電池アセンブリを備えている電動車両。
