Description
本実施形態は、ハードディスクドライブ装置(単にHDD、ディスク駆動装置という場合もある)に搭載されて記録ディスクを駆動するブラシレスモータや、CD(Compact Disc)装置、DVD(Digital Versatile Disc)装置等の光学ディスク記録再生装置(単に、ディスク駆動装置ともいう)に搭載されるディスク駆動モータ等に用いられる。
図4に示すように、スラスト部材26は、ハウジング平坦部14dと周状張出部16bの軸方向隙間においてスリーブ16を環囲する内周部26eaと、内周部26eaから半径方向外向きに延在する部分であって上端面26ecが下向に窪む外周部26ebと、を有している。また、第1円筒部20bは、スラスト部材26の外周部が固着される内壁の部分20bbと、内壁の部分20bbの上側に設けられ内壁の部分20bbの内周面より小径の内周面を有する内周小径部20baと、を含み、内周小径部20baは周状張出部16bを環囲すると共に、軸方向において内周部26eaの上側の端面26edを越えて下側に延在し外周部26ebと対面する端面20bcを有している。
Claims (1)
- 記録ディスクを載置可能なハブと、前記ハブを支持する流体動圧軸受ユニットとを備えたディスク駆動装置であって、
前記流体動圧軸受ユニットは、
軸方向で第1方向から第2方向に延伸するシャフトと、
前記シャフトの前記第2方向側の一部を収容するとともに、前記シャフトと相対的な回転が可能な部材であって、前記シャフトを環囲するスリーブ円筒部と、前記スリーブ円筒部の前記第1方向の端部において外径方向に延在する周状張出部と、を含むスリーブと、
前記スリーブを環囲する円筒部と、前記円筒部の前記第1方向の端部に設けられアキシャル方向の面を有するハウジング平坦部とを含むハウジングと、
気液界面から前記スリーブと前記シャフトの隙間に亘って充填される潤滑剤と、
スラスト動圧溝が形成される部分であって前記ハウジング平坦部と前記周状張出部の軸方向隙間において前記スリーブを環囲する内周部と、前記内周部から半径方向外向きに延在する部分であって前記第1方向側の端面が軸方向で前記第2方向に窪む外周部と、を有するフランジ部と、前記フランジ部の前記外周部から軸方向に一体的に延伸して前記ハウジングを環囲し前記フランジ部のアキシャル方向長さより大きなアキシャル方向長さを有し、前記ハウジングを環囲する内周面に前記気液界面が位置する下垂部と、を含み前記シャフトと一体的に回転するスラスト部材と、
前記スリーブの内周面と前記シャフトの外周面との間に形成されるラジアル空間部と、
前記ラジアル空間部において前記スリーブの内周面の少なくとも一部と前記シャフトの外周面との間に設けられ、軸方向に分離された第1ラジアル動圧発生部と第2ラジアル動圧発生部とを有するラジアル動圧発生部と、
を備え、
前記第1ラジアル動圧発生部と前記第2ラジアル動圧発生部は、回転方向に沿って繰り返し配列される複数の縞模様溝部で構成され、
前記複数の縞模様溝部の各縞模様溝部は、両側の端部と当該両側の端部に挟まれた中間部で形成され、前記両側の端部と前記中間部とは前記シャフトと前記スリーブの相対的な回転により前記中間部に前記潤滑剤が集まるように配置され、
前記ハブは、前記シャフトが固着される中心孔と、前記中心孔の半径方向外側に設けられるハブ円筒部と、を有し、
前記ハブ円筒部は、前記スラスト部材の外周面が固着される内壁の部分と、前記内壁の部分の前記第1方向側に設けられ前記内壁の部分の内周面より小径の内周面を有する内周小径部と、を含み、
前記内周小径部は、前記周状張出部を環囲すると共に、軸方向において前記内周部の前記第1方向側の端面を越えて前記第2方向側に延在し前記外周部と対面する端面を有することを特徴とするディスク駆動装置。
