Claims (20)
- 高伸縮性区域と、

移行区域であって、流体が前記高伸縮性区域から該移行区域を通って前記低伸縮性区域に移動するように、前記高伸縮性区域を前記低伸縮性区域に連結する移行区域と
を具備する吸引チューブであって、
前記高伸縮性区域がハンドピースに連結するように構成され、前記低伸縮性区域が外科手術用コンソールに連結するように構成される、吸引チューブ。 - 前記ハンドピースが眼科用ハンドピースであり、前記外科手術用コンソールが眼科手術用コンソールである、請求項1に記載の吸引チューブ。
- 前記移行区域がコネクタを具備する、請求項1に記載の吸引チューブ。
- 前記移行区域が、前記高伸縮性区域及び低伸縮性区域と連なる、チューブの長さ部分を具備する、請求項1に記載の吸引チューブ。
- 前記移行区域のデュロメータ硬さが該移行区域の長さ部分に亘って変化する、請求項4に記載の吸引チューブ。
- 前記高伸縮性区域の伸縮性を低下させるために、該高伸縮性区域が、リブ、リング、棘状突起、スリーブ、又はソックスの少なくとも一つを更に具備する、請求項1に記載の吸引チューブ。
- 前記高伸縮性区域が約50〜70ショアAの範囲のデュロメータ硬さを有する、請求項1に記載の吸引チューブ。
- 前記低伸縮性区域が約80〜100ショアAの範囲のデュロメータ硬さを有する、請求項1に記載の吸引チューブ。
- 前記高伸縮性区域が約2.54〜5.08cmの範囲の長さを有する、請求項1に記載の吸引チューブ。
- 前記低伸縮性区域が約127〜228.6cmの範囲の長さを有する、請求項1に記載の吸引チューブ。
- 眼科手術用コンソールと、
吸引チューブ及び灌流チューブによって前記眼科手術用コンソールに連結されたハンドピースと
を具備するシステムであって、
前記吸引チューブが、
前記眼科用ハンドピースに連結するように構成された高伸縮性区域と、
前記眼科手術用コンソールに連結するように構成された低伸縮性区域であって、前記高伸縮性区域とは異なる形状を有し、前記異なる形状によって、前記高伸縮性区域よりも低い伸縮性が与えられる低伸縮性区域と、
移行区域であって、流体が前記高伸縮性区域から該移行区域を通って前記低伸縮性区域に移動するように、前記高伸縮性区域を前記低伸縮性区域に連結する移行区域と
を具備する、システム。 - 前記吸引チューブの移行区域がコネクタを具備する、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記吸引チューブの移行区域が、前記高伸縮性区域及び低伸縮性区域と連なる、チューブの長さ部分を具備する、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記移行区域のデュロメータ硬さが該移行区域の長さ部分に亘って変化する、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記吸引チューブの高伸縮性区域の伸縮性を低下させるために、該高伸縮性区域が、リブ、リング、棘状突起、スリーブ、又はソックスの少なくとも一つを更に具備する、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記吸引チューブの高伸縮性区域が約50〜70ショアAの範囲のデュロメータ硬さを有する、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記吸引チューブの低伸縮性区域が約80〜100ショアAのデュロメータ硬さを有する、請求項11に記載のシステム。
