Description
R 9 及びR 14 は、それぞれ水素原子又はフェニル基を表す。尚、R 9 は、R 14 と同一の置換基である。またR 9 及びR 14 がフェニル基である場合、当該フェニル基は、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基又はターシャリーブチル基をさらに有していてもよい。
R11 及びR12は、それぞれ水素原子、フルオランテニル基又はベンゾフルオランテニル基を表す。尚、R 11 又はR 12 で表されるフルオランテニル基及びベンゾフルオランテニル基は、アルキル基、アラルキル基、アリール基、複素環基、ジメチルアミノ基、ジエチルアミノ基、ジベンジルアミノ基、ジフェニルアミノ基、ジトリルアミノ基、アルコキシ基、アリールオキシ基、ハロゲン原子及びシアノ基から選択される置換基をさらに有していてもよい。ただし、R 11 が水素原子である場合、R 12 はフルオランテニル基又はベンゾフルオランテニル基である。またR 11 がフルオランテニル基又はベンゾフルオランテニル基である場合、R 12 は水素原子である。)

(1)中間体E5の合成
反応容器に以下に示す試薬、溶媒を仕込んだ。
フェナントレン(E1):17.8g(100mmol)
E2:21.5g(100mmol)
臭化アルミニウム:26.6g(100mol)
二硫化炭素:500ml
反応容器に以下に示す試薬、溶媒を仕込んだ。
E3:11.6g(50mmol)
E4:10.5g(50mmol)
エタノール:200ml
反応容器に以下に示す試薬、溶媒を仕込んだ。
E5:4.1g(10mmol)
E6:2.7g(11mmol)
トルエン:100ml
100mlナスフラスコに以下に示す試薬、溶媒を仕込んだ。
E7:1067mg(2mmol)
E8:656mg(2mmol)
Pd(PPh3)4:0.05g
トルエン:20ml
エタノール:10ml
2M−炭酸ナトリウム水溶液:20ml
実施例1(2−2)において、E8を、下記に示されるE9(767mg、2mmol)に変更する以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により合成を行うことで、例示化合物A27を910mg得た。
基板上に、陽極、ホール注入層、ホール輸送層、発光層、ホール・エキシトンブロッキング層、電子輸送層及び陰極がこの順に積層されている有機発光装置を以下に示す方法により作製した。
実施例3において、ホストとゲストとの組み合わせを下記表6に示す通りにそれぞれ変更した。これを除いては、実施例3と同様の方法により有機発光素子を得た。得られた有機発光素子について実施例3と同様に評価した。結果を表6に示す。
Claims (10)
- 下記一般式(1)に示されることを特徴とする、有機化合物。
(式(1)において、R1乃至R 8 、R 10 及びR 13は、水素原子を表す。
R 9 及びR 14 は、それぞれ水素原子又はフェニル基を表す。尚、R 9 は、R 14 と同一の置換基である。またR 9 及びR 14 がフェニル基である場合、当該フェニル基は、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基及びターシャリーブチル基から選択される置換基をさらに有していてもよい。
R11 及びR12は、それぞれ水素原子、フルオランテニル基又はベンゾフルオランテニル基を表す。ただし、R 11 が水素原子である場合、R 12 はフルオランテニル基又はベンゾフルオランテニル基である。またR 11 がフルオランテニル基又はベンゾフルオランテニル基である場合、R 12 は水素原子である。尚、R 11 又はR 12 で表されるフルオランテニル基及びベンゾフルオランテニル基は、アルキル基、アラルキル基、アリール基、複素環基、ジメチルアミノ基、ジエチルアミノ基、ジベンジルアミノ基、ジフェニルアミノ基、ジトリルアミノ基、アルコキシ基、アリールオキシ基、ハロゲン原子及びシアノ基から選択される置換基をさらに有していてもよい。) - 前記アリール基が、フェニル基、3,5−ジメチルフェニル基、3,5−ジターシャリーブチルフェニル基又はビフェニル基であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の有機化合物。
- 陽極と陰極と、
該陽極と該陰極との間に配置される有機化合物層と、を有し、
該有機化合物層に請求項1又は2に記載の有機化合物が含まれることを特徴とする、有機発光素子。 - 前記有機化合物層が発光層であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記発光層がホストとゲストとを有し、
前記有機化合物が前記ゲストであることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記有機化合物が青色発光することを特徴とする、請求項3乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 複数の画素を有し、前記画素が請求項3乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の有機発光素子であり、かつ前記有機発光素子に電気信号を供給する手段を有する画像表示装置。
- 請求項7に記載の画像表示装置を含む表示部と、撮像光学系を含む撮像部と、を有することを特徴とする、撮像装置。
- 請求項3乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の有機発光素子を露光光源として有することを特徴とする、電子写真方式の画像形成装置。
- 請求項3乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の有機発光素子を有することを特徴とする、照明装置。
