Description
Claims (8)
- 複数の振動素子で構成されて複数のサブアレイに区分けされたアレイ振動子と、
各サブアレイごとにそれに属する複数の振動素子の各々に対する遅延量を定めた遅延パターンに基づいて、各サブアレイに応じた遅延処理を実行するサブアレイ処理部と、
を有し、
前記アレイ振動子が複数の振動子領域に分割され、各振動子領域が複数のサブアレイで構成されており、各振動子領域ごとに、その振動子領域を構成する複数のサブアレイに対して共通の遅延パターンが設定され、さらに、それら複数のサブアレイの各々に対して個別のメイン遅延量が設定される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記複数の振動子領域の各々に対して仮想的な平面が対応付けられ、各振動子領域ごとに、対応付けられた仮想的な平面に基づいて前記共通の遅延パターンが設定される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項2に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記複数の振動子領域の各々に対応付けられる前記仮想的な平面は、ビーム偏向角度に係る項とフォーカス距離に係る項を含んだ式で定義され、
前記複数の振動子領域において前記ビーム偏向角度に係る項が共通とされ、
前記各振動子領域ごとに前記フォーカス距離に係る項が決定される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記複数のサブアレイの各々に対して設定される前記個別のメイン遅延量に基づいて、ビームのフォーカス深さが制御される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記アレイ振動子は、2次元的に配列された複数の振動素子で構成される2次元アレイ振動子である、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項5に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記2次元アレイ振動子は、振動子面の中央から放射状に伸長される仮想的な境界線により複数の振動子領域に分割される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項6に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記2次元アレイ振動子は、振動子面の中央を取り囲むように設定される仮想的な境界線により複数の振動子領域に分割される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項5から7のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記2次元アレイ振動子は、3つ以上の振動子領域に分割される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。
