Description

以下の結果は、本発明の0.375インチID(内径)多層強化チューブの調製において得られた。全試験サンプルが、先に開発された標準製造手順に従って、上で参照される加工条件に従って作られた。一般に、ホース試験サンプルは、標準三段工程で製造した。最初にコア管材料を押し出して、垂直または水平タワーオーブン内で硬化させた。これはシリコーン層を含むフルオロポリマーライナーの外被であってもよく、またはそれは完全シリコーンコアの押し出し加工であってもよい。第2のステップとして、例えば第3のステップ前の約225°F〜約350°Fの温度での約45分〜約240分間にわたるオーブン内での乾燥をオプションとして、コア管材料を補強材と共に編組した。第3のステップでは、シリコーン層を編組コア管材料の上に押し出した。次にこの多層構造体をオーブン内で後硬化させてシリコーンを完全に硬化させ、管材料中の全材料間の追加的な結合を促進した。硬化が完結したら、試験のためにサンプルを適切な取付具と連結した。

Claims (15)
- フルオロポリマーライナーを含んでなる第1の層と、
前記第1の層に直接接する第2の層と
を含んでなり、前記第2の層がシリコーンエラストマーと、前記シリコーンエラストマー内に埋め込まれた少なくとも1つの補強材とを含んでなり、前記シリコーンエラストマーが粘着性シリコーンポリマーである、チューブ。 - 前記補強材が、ポリエステル、接着改変ポリエステル、ポリアミド、ポリアラミド、ステンレス鋼、およびそれらの組み合わせである、請求項1に記載のチューブ。
- 前記補強材が編組ポリエステルである、請求項2に記載のチューブ。
- 前記粘着性シリコーンポリマーが高粘度シリコーンゴム(HCR)または液体シリコーンゴム(LSR)である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のチューブ。
- 前記フルオロポリマーライナーが、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、フッ素化エチレンプロピレン共重合体(FEP)、テトラフルオロエチレンとペルフルオロプロピルビニルエーテル(PFA)の共重合体、テトラフルオロエチレンとペルフルオロメチルビニルエーテル(MFA)の共重合体、エチレンテトラフルオロエチレン共重合体(ETFE)、エチレンクロロトリフルオロエチレン共重合体(ECTFE)、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン(PCTFE)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)、およびフッ化ビニリデンヘキサフルオロプロピレンテトラフルオロエチレンターポリマー(THV)からなる群から選択されるフルオロポリマーを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のチューブ。
- 前記フルオロポリマーライナーが、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、フッ素化エチレンプロピレン共重合体(FEP)、またはテトラフルオロエチレンとペルフルオロプロピルビニルエーテル(PFA)の共重合体である、請求項5に記載のチューブ。
- 約270.0psi(1.86MPa)を超える破裂圧を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のチューブ。
- 多層チューブを形成する方法であって、
フルオロポリマーライナーを提供するステップと、
前記フルオロポリマーライナーに直接接するシリコーンエラストマーカバーを提供するステップと
を含んでなり、前記シリコーンエラストマーカバーが前記シリコーンエラストマーカバー内に埋め込まれた強化部材を含み、前記シリコーンエラストマーが粘着性シリコーンポリマーである、方法。 - 前記補強材がポリエステル、接着改変ポリエステル、ポリアミド、ポリアラミド、ステンレス鋼、およびそれらの組み合わせである、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記フルオロポリマーライナーが外面を含み、前記エラストマーカバーを押し出すステップに先だって前記外面を処理するステップをさらに含んでなる、請求項8または9に記載の方法。

- 前記多層チューブを約125℃〜約200℃の温度に加熱するステップをさらに含んでなる、請求項8〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
