Description
(1.発明の分野)
本発明は、一般に、医療法デバイスおよび方法に関する。より特定すると、本発明は、脈管構造および他の身体管状構造物中の分岐部に、ステントおよび他の管状プロテーゼを送達するための装置および方法に関する。
分岐ステントおよび送達システムを記載する特許および出願公開としては、
本発明は、脈管構造または他の体腔における分岐部において側部開口部を有する、脈管プロテーゼおよび他の管腔プロテーゼの送達のための装置およびシステムを提供する。分岐部は、通常、主要分岐脈管および側部分岐脈管を備え、ここで、プロテーゼの円筒形本体が、主要分岐内に位置決めされ、側部開口部が、側部分岐への口または開口部と整列する。これらの装置およびシステムは、同時係属中の米国特許出願番号11/330,382(その全開示は、本明細書中に参考として明白に援用される)に教示されるような、自己開口型の側部構造体を有するプロテーゼを送達するために特に有用であるが、これらの装置およびシステムはまた、側部分岐の口と整列するべき側部穴もしくは他の開口部、および/または側部構造体を有する、任意のステントまたはプロテーゼを送達するために有用である。

Claims (9)
- 送達カテーテルであって、
近位端および遠位端を有するカテーテルシャフト;
該カテーテルシャフトの遠位端の近くに配置された拡張可能部材;
該拡張可能部材を覆って設置された拡張プロテーゼ;ならびに
該拡張可能部材の外面の一部分上に設置されたガイドワイヤ管であって、該ガイドワイヤ管は、該プロテーゼの近位部分の下に配置され、そして該プロテーゼの側部穴の近位に少なくとも1mmの距離の間隔を空けた位置を保持するように延びる、ガイドワイヤ管、を備える、送達カテーテル。 - 前記ガイドワイヤ管の通路内にスライド可能に受容される側部ガイドワイヤをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の送達カテーテル。
- 前記カテーテルシャフトの遠位端から遠位に延びる中心ガイドワイヤをさらに備える、請求項1〜2のいずれか1項に記載の送達カテーテル。
- 前記中心ガイドワイヤが固定されている、請求項3に記載の送達カテーテル。
- 前記中心ガイドワイヤが可動である、請求項3に記載の送達カテーテル。
- 前記保持位置が、前記側部穴の近位に少なくとも2mmの間隔を空けている、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の送達カテーテル。
- 前記保持位置が、前記側部穴の近位に少なくとも3mmの間隔を空けている、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の送達カテーテル。
- 前記シャフトの近位部分が、前記側部ガイドワイヤの近位部分を取り外し可能に受容するための分離管腔を備える、ガイドワイヤを備える、請求項2〜7のいずれか1項に記載の送達カテーテル。
- 放射線不透過性マーカーが、前記側部穴に隣接して前記拡張プロテーゼ上に位置決めされ、開口部を横切る放射線不透過性ガイドワイヤの観察を容易にする、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の送達カテーテル。
