Description
代表的な自動車用電装補機として、エンジン温度に対応した最適な送風を行なうファンカップリング装置やエンジンの回転をベルトで受けて発電し、車両の電気負荷に電力を供給するとともに、バッテリーを充電するオルタネータなどがある。これらはエンジンが所定の出力状態にあるときのみ繋がる一方向クラッチを介してエンジンの回転トルクを効率よく利用するために用いられるものである。自動車用電装補機に装着される一方向クラッチ内蔵型回転伝達装置は、エンジン出力軸への着脱が頻繁に繰り返され、エンジン出力軸と繋がるときの回転速度が高いために、負荷荷重、発生する熱および振動などが大きくなるなど、自動車の高性能化・高出力化に伴って、使用条件が厳しくなっている。
しかしながら、特許文献1のように、エーテル油を基油としたものでは、一方向クラッチがオーバーラン状態での低摩擦摩耗特性が十分でないという問題がある。特許文献2では、粘度圧力係数が所定値以上であることは、ロック状態を確実に実現するには有効であるが、オーバーラン状態での摩耗を十分に抑制することができないという問題がある。また、特許文献3のように、グリース基油に動粘度が低い合成油を使用した場合では、一般的に耐熱性が不十分となり、長期間の使用が困難になるという問題がある。
ここで、PAO油の動粘度は JIS K 2283にて測定される動粘度である。
プーリ10は、全体が円筒状に形成されており、その外径面の幅方向に関する断面形状を波形として、ポリVベルトと呼ばれる環状ベルトの一部を掛け渡し自在としている。一方、スリーブ9は、全体が円筒状に形成されており、オルタネータなどの補機の回転軸に嵌合固定して、この回転軸と共に回転自在である。そして、プーリ10の内径面とスリーブ9の外径面との間に位置する円筒状空間の軸方向両端部でこのローラクラッチ11を軸方向両側から挟む位置に転がり軸受1、1を設置するとともに、この円筒状空間の軸方向中間部にローラクラッチ11を設置している。
ZnDTCの市販品としては、バンルーブAZ(バンダービルド社製)を挙げることができる。
ZnDTPの市販品としては、LZ1095(ルブリゾール社製)を挙げることができる。
ウレア系化合物は、イソシアネート化合物とアミン化合物を反応させることにより得られる。反応性のある遊離基を残さないため、イソシアネート化合物のイソシアネート基とアミン化合物のアミノ基とは略当量となるように配合することが好ましい。
得られるジウレア化合物は、増ちょう剤として単独で用いても 2 種類以上組み合わせて用いてもよい。
反応は、例えばモノアミン酸とジイソシアネート類を、70〜110℃程度の基油中で十分に反応させた後、温度を上昇させ 120〜180℃で 1〜2 時間程度保持し、その後冷却し、ホモジナイザー、3 本ロールミル等を使用して均一化処理することによりなされ、各種配合剤を配合するためのベースグリースが得られる。
反応容器中で、基油中に増ちょう剤を加え、3 本ロールミルを用いて均一化処理して、表1に示すウレア/PAO油系グリース( 40℃基油粘度 46 mm2/sec )を得た。さらに、添加剤としてZnDTC、ZnDTPおよびアミン系酸化防止剤(大内新興化学社製、ノクラックAD−F)とを、表1に示す割合で上記グリースに添加して、各実施例および各参考例のグリースを作製した。得られたグリースにつき、以下に記す極圧性評価試験および高温高速試験を行なった。結果を表1に併記した。
反応容器中で、基油中に増ちょう剤を加え、3 本ロールミルを用いて均一化処理して、表1に示すLi石けん/鉱油系グリース( 40℃基油粘度 100 mm2 /sec )、ウレア/PAO油系グリース( 40℃基油粘度 46 mm2/sec)を得た。さらに、添加剤としてモリブデンジチオカーバメートおよびアミン系酸化防止剤(大内新興化学社製、ノクラックAD−F)とを、表1に示す割合で上記グリースに添加して、各比較例のグリースを作製した。得られたグリースにつき、実施例と同様にして極圧性評価試験および高温高速試験を行なった。結果を表1に併記した。
極圧性評価試験装置を図3に示す。評価試験装置は、回転軸20に固定されたφ40×10 のリング状試験片21と、この試験片21と端面23にて端面同士が擦り合わされるリング状試験片22とで構成される。ころ軸受用グリースを端面23部分に塗布し、回転軸20を回転数 2000 rpm、図3中右方向Aのアキシアル荷重 490 N 、ラジアル荷重 392 N を負荷して、極圧性を評価した。極圧性は両試験片のすべり部の摩擦摩耗増大により生じる回転軸20の振動を振動センサにて測定し、その振動値が初期値の 2 倍になるまで試験を行ない、その時間を測定した。
回転軸20の振動値が初期値の 2 倍になるまでの時間が長いほど極圧性効果が大となり、優れた耐熱耐久性を示す。したがってグリースの耐熱耐久性の評価は、測定された上記時間の長さにて各実施例と各比較例とを対比させて行なった。
転がり軸受(軸受寸法:内径φ 20 mm×外径φ 47 mm×幅 14 mm )に各実施例および各比較例で得られたグリースをそれぞれ 1.8 g 封入し、軸受外輪外径部温度 150℃、ラジアル荷重 67 N 、アキシャル荷重 67 N の下で、 10000 rpm の回転数で回転させ、焼きつきにいたるまでの時間を測定した。
極圧性評価試験にて回転軸20の振動値が初期値の 2 倍になるまでの時間が 140 時間以上あり、かつ高温高速試験にて焼きつきにいたるまでの時間が2300時間以上あるグリースを一方向クラッチ内蔵型回転伝達装置の耐摩耗性および耐久性に優れると評価して「○」を、それ以外を不可と評価して「×」を表1に併記した。
ウレア/PAO油系グリースを使用した比較例1〜比較例4は、優れた耐熱耐久性を示したが、極圧性に劣り、Li石けん/鉱油系グリースを使用した比較例5〜比較例6は極圧性および耐熱耐久性に劣り、摩耗防止剤にモリブデンジチオカーバメートを用いた比較例4および比較例6は極圧性が向上しなかった。

Claims (4)
- 内径側回転部材と、この内径側回転部材と同心に配置された筒状の外径側回転部材と、これら内径側回転部材の外径面と外径側回転部材の内径面との間に配設され、この外径側回転部材が前記内径側回転部材よりも高速で回転する場合にのみ、これら内径側回転部材の外径面と外径側回転部材の内径面とを繋ぐ一方向クラッチと、この一方向クラッチを軸方向に対し両側に挟む形で配設され、前記内径側回転部材と外径側回転部材との間に加わるラジアル荷重を支承しつつ、これら両回転部材同士の相対回転を自在とする転がり軸受とを備えてなる一方向クラッチ内蔵型回転伝達装置であって、
前記一方向クラッチを構成する複数個のころを設置したクラッチ内部空間内と、前記転がり軸受を構成する複数個の転動体を設置した空間内とにグリースが封入されてなり、
前記グリースは、基油と、増ちょう剤と、添加剤とを含み、前記基油は40℃における動粘度が 40〜60 mm 2 /sec であるポリ-α-オレフィン油であり、前記添加剤として少なくとも亜鉛ジチオカーバメートを、グリース全体に対して 0.01〜15 重量%含み、
前記増ちょう剤は、下記式(1)で示されるウレア系化合物であることを特徴とする一方向クラッチ内蔵型回転伝達装置。
(式中、R1およびR3 は、炭素原子数 6〜20 の炭化水素基であり、R1およびR3 は、同一であっても異なっていてもよい。R 1 およびR 3 の少なくとも一方は、脂環族炭化水素基である。R2 は、炭素原子数 6〜15 の芳香族系炭化水素基である。) - 前記添加剤は、ジチオリン酸亜鉛を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の一方向クラッチ内蔵型回転伝達装置。
- 前記増ちょう剤は、ジイソシアネートと、シクロヘキシルアミンを少なくとも含むモノアミンとの反応で得られることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載の一方向クラッチ内蔵型回転伝達装置。
- 前記亜鉛ジチオカーバメートが、グリース全体に対して 3〜5 重量%含まれることを特徴とする請求項1、請求項2または請求項3記載の一方向クラッチ内蔵型回転伝達装置。
