Description
本発明は、独立請求項の上位概念に記載した歩行者用保護手段を駆動制御するための装置に関する。
独立請求項の特徴部分の構成を有する、歩行者用保護手段を駆動制御する本発明の装置はこれに対して次のような利点を有している。すなわち、車両と歩行者の間の相対速度も、保護手段の駆動制御量を突き止めるために使用されるという利点を有している。これによって殊に、衝突の規模に依存して適切な保護手段を駆動制御するために衝突エネルギーを見積もることが可能になる。保護手段には、立ち上げ可能なボンネット、例えばAピラーでの外部エアバッグおよび走行介入または他の車両変更部分が属している。相対速度に関する知識によって、センサ信号はより正確に解釈される。相対速度によって、最終的に事故被害の規模を決める相殺されるべきエネルギーが突き止められる。センサに応じて、軽量で迅速な対象は、重量で緩慢な対象と同じように見える。なぜなら同じエネルギーが置き換えられるからである。これによって殊に非常に速い歩行者(例えばインラインスケータ、スクーター運転者または場合によっては自転車運転者)がより良好に保護される。本願ではこのようなグループも歩行者と数えられる。これによってより良好に解釈されるセンサ信号には例えば対象物クラス、衝突時点、歩行者の幅、大きさおよび重量の見積もりが属する。これらのセンサ信号またはセンサ信号から導出された特徴は殊に、例えばビデオセンサ装置、レーダセンサ装置または超音波センサ装置等の周辺センサから得られる。
本発明の実施例を図示し、以下でより詳細に説明する。
図2にはフローチャートが示されている。
歩行者は、道路交通において最も危害を受けやすい人物グループに属している。このような歩行者をより良好に保護するための試みが数年前からEU(ヨーロッパ連合)において行われている。同時に自動車製造業者もこのテーマに取り組んでいる。ここでは、車両前部に対する建設的な措置が優勢を占めており、これは幾何形状を合わせることまたは他の材料を選択することまたはエネルギー吸収構造を付け加えることを含む。
Claims (3)
- 歩行者用保護手段(6)を駆動制御するための装置であって、
当該装置は、内部に当該装置が設けられている車両と歩行者の間の相対速度を求める周辺センサ(1)を有しており、
前記装置は、当該相対速度および車両の固有速度に依存して前記装置が前記歩行者用保護手段(6)を駆動制御するように構成されている形式のものにおいて、
前記装置は第1の信号である前記周辺センサ(1)の信号と車両の固有速度から歩行者の固有速度を突き止め、当該歩行者の固有速度から衝突エネルギーを見積もり、前記衝突エネルギーが高すぎるまたは低すぎる場合には前記歩行者用保護手段(6)の駆動制御が抑圧され、
前記装置は、前記歩行者の固有速度から歩行者の飛行軌道を突き止め、当該飛行軌道に依存して前記歩行者用保護手段(6)を駆動制御する、
ことを特徴とする歩行者用保護手段を駆動制御するための装置。 - 前記装置は付加的に接触センサ装置(2)と接続されており、第2の信号である当該接触センサ装置(2)の信号に依存して前記歩行者用保護手段(6)を駆動制御する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記装置は、歩行者をその速度に基づいてクラス分けする、請求項1記載の装置。
