Description
平均径10μmのガラス繊維を3,000本集束させ、表1に示す原料を用い、表2に示す配合割合(質量部)で調整した製造例1〜11の集束剤を付与し、3mmに切断して、実施例1〜8、及び比較例1〜3のチョップドストランドを得た。
ポリアセタールコポリマー(MFR45)に、実施例1〜8、比較例1〜3のチョップドストランドを添加し、スクリュー径35mmの2軸押出機を用い、成形温度220℃でガラス含有率25質量%の繊維強化ポリアセタール樹脂成形材料を得た。
<毛羽量測定>
内部に中羽根を設置した容量10リットルのVミキサーにチョップドストランド3kgを投入しミキサー回転数30rpm、中羽根回転数480rpm(ミキサーの回転とは逆方向)にて15分間攪拌する。その後、目開き3.35mmの篩でふるい、篩上に残った毛羽を回収し、毛羽重量を精秤した。毛羽重量が10g以下であればチョップドストランドの集束性が良好であると判断した。
ASTM D−638に準拠した方法で測定し、130MPa以上であれば良好であると判断した。
ASTM D−790に準拠した方法で測定し、190MPa以上であれば良好であると判断した。
1/8インチノッチ付で、ASTM D−256に準拠した方法で測定し、6.5MPa以上であれば良好であると判断した。
色差計(Σ−90、日本電色社製)を用い、ペレット状体の樹脂成形材料の色調を測定した。色調はb値が1〜5の範囲内であれば、ポリアセタール樹脂が有している色調とほぼ同等であるため、色調が良好であると判断した。
1.5gに調整したポリアセタール樹脂成形品を230℃で60分間焼成し、熱減量率を求めた。熱減量率が1.5%以下あれば、ガスの発生量は充分抑制できると判断した。
Claims (7)
- 集束剤として、ポリアクリル酸、ハロゲン化アンモニウム、ポリウレタン樹脂、及びアミノシラン系カップリング剤とを含み、前記集束剤の固形分がチョップドストランドの全量に対し0.1〜1.0質量%付着していることを特徴とするチョップドストランド。
- 前記集束剤は、ポリアクリル酸の固形分100質量部に対し、ハロゲン化アンモニウムの固形分が0.3〜3質量部、ポリウレタン樹脂の固形分が10〜100質量部、及びアミノシラン系カップリング剤の固形分が5〜50質量部である請求項1に記載のチョップドストランド。
- 前記集束剤の成分として更に蛍光増白剤を含む請求項1又は2に記載のチョップドストランド。
- 前記集束剤に含まれる蛍光増白剤は、ポリアクリル酸の固形分100質量部に対し0.3〜3質量部である請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のチョップドストランド。
- 前記ポリウレタン樹脂は、キシリレンジイソシネートを主成分とするイソシアネート成分と、ポリ(ε‐カプロラクトン)ジオールを主成分とするポリオール成分とで構成された請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載のチョップドストランド。
- 前記ハロゲン化アンモニウムが、臭化アンモニウムである請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載のチョップドストランド。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載のチョップドストランドと、ポリアセタール樹脂とを混練してなるガラス含有率が5〜70質量%である繊維強化ポリアセタール樹脂成形材料。
