Description

This disclosure relates to a bag.

Carrying bags are used for carrying items, etc. A known example of such a carrying bag is one that has a peripheral portion having a front portion, a back portion, and a pair of side portions, a bottom portion that closes the lower opening of the peripheral portion, and a pair of handles that are connected to the peripheral portion (see Patent Document 1).

Utility Model Registration No. 3213124

As described in Patent Document 1, the bottom of the tote bag is made of fabric such as polyester. However, with this configuration, it can be difficult for the tote bag to remain stable when standing upright.

This disclosure is based on these circumstances and aims to provide a bag that can easily stand on its own.

The bag according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises a bottom, a cylindrical peripheral wall fixed to the outer periphery of the upper surface of the bottom, and a pair of handle straps fixed to the peripheral wall and facing each other, and the bottom is in the shape of a shoe sole having a forefoot, a midfoot, and a rearfoot.

The bag according to one aspect of the present disclosure can be easily made to stand on its own.

[Description of the embodiments of the present disclosure]
First, the embodiments of the present disclosure will be listed and described.

(1) A bag according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises a bottom, a cylindrical peripheral wall fixed to the outer periphery of the upper surface of the bottom, and a pair of handle straps fixed to the peripheral wall and facing each other, and the bottom is in the shape of a shoe sole having a forefoot portion, a midfoot portion, and a rearfoot portion.

The bottom of the bag is in the shape of a sole with a forefoot, midfoot, and rearfoot, and the peripheral wall is fixed to the outer periphery of the upper surface of the bottom, so that the bag is stable when the bottom is in contact with a ground surface such as the ground. Therefore, the bag can be easily made to stand on its own. (4) In any of (1) to (3) above, the height of the upper surface of the bottom may gradually increase from the front end of the forefoot to the front end of the rearfoot. This aspect makes it easier to store items on the forefoot, which has a relatively large area. As a result, it becomes easier to more stably maintain a posture when the bottom is in contact with a ground surface such as the ground.

The bag 1 shown in Figs. 1 to 4 is a handbag, typically a tote bag. The bag 1 includes a bottom 10, a cylindrical peripheral wall 20 fixed to the outer periphery 11a of the upper surface 11 of the bottom 10, and a pair of handle straps 30 fixed to the peripheral wall 20 and facing each other. The bag 1 may also include a bottom plate 40 disposed on the bottom 10. The bottom 10 is a sole-shaped having a forefoot 12, a midfoot 13, and a rearfoot 14. The term "sole-shaped" refers to a shape that imitates a sole of a shoe. The term "forefoot" refers to a part of the sole that supports the toes and the footbed, the term "midfoot" refers to a part that supports the arch of the foot, and the term "rearfoot" refers to a part that supports the heel.

According to this embodiment, the bottom 10 can be more stably maintained in a state where it is in contact with a ground surface such as the ground. Examples of the main component of the bottom 10 include ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), polyurethane (PU), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), etc., and among them, EVA may be used. Note that "main component" means the component with the largest content in mass conversion, for example, the component with a content of 50% by mass or more.

The bottom 10 may be formed only from the resin molded body. Alternatively, the bottom 10 may have a surface layer made of another material, such as leather, on the resin molded body. The design of the bottom 10 can be improved by having the surface layer. The surface layer may be formed integrally with the peripheral wall 20, for example. In other words, the bag 1 can be formed integrally with the peripheral wall 20 using a bottomed cylindrical member.

The bottom 10 has a forefoot section 12, a midfoot section 13, and a rearfoot section 14 from the toe side to the heel side. A plurality of grooves 15 are formed along the width direction on the bottom surface of the bottom 10. The plurality of grooves 15 may penetrate the bottom surface in the width direction. In this case, a plurality of lands separated by the plurality of grooves 15 are formed on the bottom surface. The plurality of lands are arranged at intervals in the front-rear direction. One or more of the lands may be provided with an anti-slip structure. The anti-slip structure may be formed, for example, by providing a plurality of fine irregularities on the bottom surface. Examples of the fine irregularities include a structure in which a plurality of dot-shaped protrusions are provided on the bottom surface, and a structure in which striped fine grooves are provided on the bottom surface. The bag 1 has excellent water drainage properties due to the formation of the plurality of grooves on the bottom surface. In addition, the bag 1 can improve stability in a self-supporting state due to the formation of a plurality of anti-slip structures on the bottom surface.

The lower limit of the average thickness of the bottom 10 may be 1 cm, 1.5 cm, or 2.0 cm, from the viewpoint of more reliably preventing the peripheral wall 20, etc. from contacting the ground surface. On the other hand, the upper limit of the average thickness of the bottom 10 may be 5 cm, 4 cm, or 3.5 cm, from the viewpoint of preventing the bottom 10 from becoming too thick and thus causing the proportion of the item storage space S to become relatively insufficient.

The outer peripheral edge 11a of the upper surface 11 of the bottom 10 may have an annular connecting portion 11b that protrudes upward. The protruding length L (see FIG. 2) of this connecting portion 11b may be, for example, 2 mm or more and 10 mm or less, or 2 mm or more and 6 mm or less. The connecting portion 11b is used when connecting the bottom 10 and the peripheral wall 20 by sewing or the like. By having the protruding length L of the connecting portion 11b within the above range, the connecting portion 11b and the peripheral wall 20 can be reliably connected.

As shown in FIG. 1, the maximum width W1 of the forefoot 12 and the maximum width W3 of the rearfoot 14 are greater than the average width W2 of the midfoot 13. More specifically, in the bag 1, the maximum width W1 of the forefoot 12 > the maximum width W3 of the rearfoot 14 > the average width W2 of the midfoot 13. By increasing the width on both the front and rear sides of the bottom 10 in this way, the bag 1 is more likely to maintain a stable posture when the bottom 10 is in contact with a ground surface such as the ground.

In the sole 10, the maximum width W1 of the forefoot portion 12 may be equal to or greater than the maximum width of the midfoot portion 13. The maximum width W3 of the rearfoot portion 14 may be equal to or greater than the maximum width of the midfoot portion 13. According to these aspects, as described below, it becomes easier to align the side edges 10a, 10b with the user's body during use. As a result, it becomes easier to improve the usability of the bag 1.

As shown in FIG. 1, the bottom 10 has side edges 10a, 10b that are substantially arc-shaped and extend from the front foot portion 12 through the midfoot portion 13 to the rear foot portion 14. The side edges 10a, 10b are curved so as to protrude most inward in the width direction of the bottom 10 at the midfoot portion 13. According to this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the side edges 10a, 10b can be easily aligned with the user's body during use. As a result, the usability of the bag 1 can be easily improved.

In FIG. 1, the side edges 10a, 10b on both sides of the bottom 10 are curved in an approximately arc shape. This allows the user to easily fit the bag 1 to the body whether the user holds the bag 1 in the left or right hand. The bottom 10 is typically shaped like a shoe sole for the right or left foot, in which case the side edges 10a, 10b on the left and right sides have different degrees of curvature. This allows the user to select the side edges 10a, 10b that fit the body according to the situation during use. It is also possible for the bag 1 to be configured so that only one of the left and right side edges 10a, 10b is curved in an approximately arc shape.

In FIG. 1, the side edges 10a, 10b are formed from the middle of the front foot portion 12 to the middle of the rear foot portion 14. However, in the bag 1, the side edges 10a, 10b may be formed over the entire area of the bottom portion 10 in the front-to-rear direction.

As shown in FIG. 3, the height of the upper surface 11 of the bottom 10 gradually increases from the front end of the forefoot 12 to the front end of the rearfoot 14. This configuration makes it easier to store items on the relatively large area of the forefoot 12. As a result, it becomes easier to more stably maintain the position of the bottom 10 when it is in contact with a ground surface such as the ground.

(Bottom plate)
The bottom plate 40 defines the bottom surface of the item storage space S (see Figs. 3 and 4) in the bag 1. The bottom plate 40 is, for example, flat. The bottom plate 40 may be flexible. The peripheral wall 20 is made of, for example, leather. The peripheral wall 20 is sewn in a ring shape at its lower edge to the connecting portion 11b of the bottom portion 10. The peripheral wall 20 has a first side portion 20a extending upward from one side edge of the bottom portion 10, a second side portion 20b extending upward from the other side edge of the bottom portion 10, a front portion 20c connecting the front edges of the first side portion 20a and the second side portion 20b, and a rear portion 20d connecting the rear edges of the first side portion 20a and the second side portion 20b.

(Hand strap)
The pair of carrying straps 30 is composed of a first carrying strap 30a fixed to the first side portion 20a and a second carrying strap 30b fixed to the second side portion 20b (see FIG. 5). Both ends of the first carrying strap 30a are sewn to the first side portion 20a. Both ends of the second carrying strap 30b are sewn to the second side portion 20b. Note that the pair of carrying straps 30 do not necessarily have to be fixed by sewing. For example, the pair of carrying straps 30 may be detachably attached to the peripheral wall 20 by snap buttons or the like.

The pair of carrying straps 30 protrude from the peripheral wall 20 above the front foot 12 and the rear foot 14 in a plan view. That is, one end of the pair of carrying straps 30 is fixed above the front foot 12 so as to straddle the midfoot 13, and the other end is fixed above the rear foot 14. According to this embodiment, the peripheral wall 20 can be easily fitted to the body of the user during use. That is, since the midfoot 13 is disposed between the fixing position of the carrying straps 30 and the peripheral wall 20, it becomes easier to fit the side edge of the midfoot 13 to the body of the user, and therefore the peripheral wall 20 can be easily fitted to the body of the user. As a result, it is easy to improve the usability of the bag 1.

As shown in FIG. 4, in a plan view, the width W4 of the forefoot portion 12 where the pair of carrying straps 30 are fixed may be greater than the average width W2 of the midfoot portion 13. Also, the width W5 of the rearfoot portion 14 where the pair of carrying straps 30 are fixed may be greater than the average width W2 of the midfoot portion 13. This aspect makes it easier to fit the peripheral wall 20 to the user's body when in use.

In addition, in a plan view, the width W4 of the forefoot portion 12 at the portion where the pair of carrying straps 30 are fixed may be equal to or greater than the maximum width of the midfoot portion 13. Furthermore, the width W5 of the rear foot portion 14 at the portion where the pair of carrying straps 30 are fixed may be equal to or greater than the maximum width of the midfoot portion 13. These aspects make it easier to align the peripheral wall 20 with the user's body when in use.

The above-mentioned embodiment does not limit the configuration of the present invention. Therefore, the above-mentioned embodiment may omit, replace or add components of each part of the above-mentioned embodiment based on the description in this specification and common technical knowledge, and it should be interpreted that all of them belong to the scope of the present invention.

As shown in FIG. 6, the bag may include an inner bag 100 that can be accommodated in the item storage space S. The shape of the inner bag 100 is not particularly limited, and may be configured to be openable and closable by a fastener line 110, for example. Furthermore, the bag may include a strap for carrying the bag over the shoulder. The strap for carrying the bag over the shoulder may be configured to be detachable from the peripheral wall, for example.

In the above embodiment, a configuration in which the peripheral wall is sewn to a connecting portion provided on the outer periphery of the upper surface of the sole has been described. However, the bag is not limited to a configuration having the connecting portion. For example, the peripheral wall may be fixed directly to the upper surface of the sole. However, in the bag, sewing the peripheral wall to the connecting portion may easily improve the aesthetic appearance of the sole.

The positions at which the pair of handle straps are fixed on the peripheral wall are not limited to those in the above embodiment. In addition, the width of the forefoot, midfoot and rearfoot parts, the shape of the side edges of the sole, the height of the top surface of the sole, etc. can be changed depending on the design of the sole, etc.

In the above embodiment, a configuration in which a bottom plate is disposed on the bottom portion has been described. However, the bag may be configured without a bottom plate. In this case, the upper surface of the bottom portion may define the bottom surface of the item storage space.
