Abstract
【解決手段】拡大ビームフェルールは、反射面を有する第1のフェルール半体と、第2のフェルール半体とを含み、それらフェルール半体は一緒に光ファイバを保持する。反射面はフェルールの中央平面に対して垂直に光を出力する。スリーブは2つの類似のフェルールの外面を位置合わせし、それぞれのフェルールの反射面は互いに対向する。第1のフェルール内に保持された光ファイバからの出力光は、反射面によって曲げられ及びコリメートされ、第2のフェルールの対向する反射面に伝送され、その反射面は光を曲げて、第2のフェルール内に保持された光ファイバに入力させる。フェルール構成要素及び/又はスリーブは金属スタンピングにより精密に形成されている。フェルールは光ファイバコネクタに組み込まれる。

Description

拡大ビームフェルールであって、
反射面を有する第1のフェルール半体と、第2のフェルール半体とを含み、それらフェルール半体は一緒に光ファイバを保持し、
前記反射面は該フェルールの中央平面に対して垂直に光を出力する、拡大ビームフェルール。
拡大ビームフェルールコネクタであって、
第1及び第2の実施態様1に記載の拡大ビームフェルールと、
前記第1及び第2のフェルールの外面を位置合わせする位置合わせスリーブと
を備え、それぞれのフェルールの反射面は互いに対向しており、第1のフェルール内に保持された光ファイバからの出力光は、第1のフェルールの反射面によって曲げられ及びコリメートされ、前記スリーブによって位置合わせされた第2のフェルールの対向する反射面に伝送され、該反射面はその光を曲げて第2のフェルール内に保持された光ファイバに入力させる、拡大ビームフェルールコネクタ。
前記第1のフェルールと第2のフェルールとの間の拡大光ビームは、前記位置合わせスリーブの長手方向軸に対して垂直である、実施態様2に記載の拡大ビームフェルール。
