b.ポリエステルが少なくとも50重量%の芳香族カルボン酸エステルを含む、5.0mm〜15.0mmの厚さ及び400g/m2〜1600g/m2の範囲の基本重量の第2のニードリングされたポリエステル短繊維の層を提供すること(ここで、前記第2のニードリングされたポリエステル短繊維の層は、結合剤ポリマー材料を含み、前記結合剤ポリマー材料は、90℃から200℃の範囲の融点を有する)と、

- 前記2つの識別可能なポリマー材料が、少なくとも50重量%の芳香族カルボン酸エステルを有するポリエステルを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記識別可能なポリマー材料の一方が融点(Tm1)を有し、前記識別可能なポリマー材料のもう一方が融点(Tm2)を有し、Tm1はTm2よりも高い、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記2成分繊維が芯/鞘構成を有し、前記芯が前記融点Tm1を有し、前記鞘が前記融点Tm2を有する、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 工程(d)で形成された前記ニードリングされ、機械的に結合された層状構造物が、次いで、前記結合剤ポリマー材料を活性化するために加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記加熱された機械的に結合された層状構造物が、それの全体又は一部に沿って、減少した厚さに圧縮される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記減少した厚さが、1.0mm〜12.0mmの範囲にある、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 25.0mm〜125.0mmの長さを有する繊維を含むニードリングされたポリエステル短繊維の層と、前記ニードリングされたポリエステル短繊維の層の両面に少なくとも1つの不織布スパンボンドポリエステル層とを含む乗物用カバー部品であって、前記不織布スパンボンドポリエステル層は、前記ポリエステル短繊維層内にニードリングされ、前記ポリエステル短繊維層は、90℃〜200℃の範囲の融点を有する結合剤ポリマー材料を含み、前記カバー部品は、5.2mm〜19.0mmの範囲の厚さを有する、カバー部品。
- 前記ニードリングされたポリエステル短繊維の層及び前記ニードリングされた短繊維の層の両面の前記不織布スパンボンドポリエステル層は、少なくとも50重量%の芳香族カルボン酸エステルを含む、請求項1に記載のカバー部品。
- a.第1のスパンボンドポリエステルの不織布層を提供すること(ここで、前記ポリエステルは、少なくとも50重量%の芳香族カルボン酸エステルを含み、前記第1の層は、0.1mm〜2.0mmの厚さ及び25g/m2〜150g/m2の範囲の基本重量で存在する)と、
b.ポリエステルが少なくとも50重量%の芳香族カルボン酸エステルを含む、5.0mm〜15.0mmの厚さ及び400g/m2〜1600g/m2の範囲の基本重量の第2のニードリングされたポリエステル短繊維の層を提供すること(ここで、前記第2のニードリングされたポリエステル短繊維の層は、結合剤ポリマー材料を含み、前記結合剤ポリマー材料は、90℃から200℃の範囲の融点を有する)と、
c.前記第1の不織布スパンボンドポリエステル層を前記第2のニードリングされた短繊維の層内にニードリングし、前記層を機械的に結合することと
を含む、多層材料を形成するための方法。 - 25.0mm〜125.0mmの長さを有する繊維を含むニードリングされたポリエステル短繊維の層と、前記ニードリングされたポリエステル短繊維の層の片面に少なくとも1つの不織布スパンボンドポリエステル層とを含む乗物用カバー部品であって、前記不織布スパンボンドポリエステル層は、前記ポリエステル短繊維層内にニードリングされ、前記ポリエステル短繊維層は、90℃〜200℃の範囲の融点を有する結合剤ポリマー材料を含み、前記カバー部品は、5.2mm〜19.0mmの範囲の厚さを有する、カバー部品。
- 前記ニードリングされたポリエステル短繊維の層及び前記不織布スパンボンドポリエステル層が、少なくとも50重量%の芳香族カルボン酸エステルを含む、請求項14に記載のカバー部品。
