Abstract
Description
[式1]
ITO(indium tin oxide)が1,300Åの厚さに薄膜コーティングされたガラス基板(corning 7059 glass)を、洗剤を溶かした蒸留水に入れて超音波で洗浄した。この際、洗剤としては、Fischer Co.社製のものを使用しており、蒸留水としては、Millipore Co.社製のフィルタ(Filter)で2回濾過された蒸留水を使用した。ITOを30分間洗浄した後、蒸留水で超音波洗浄を10分間2回繰り返した。蒸留水洗浄が終了した後、イソプロピルアルコール、アセトン、メタノールなどの溶剤で超音波洗浄を行い乾燥させてから、プラズマ洗浄装置に移送した。また、酸素プラズマを用いて前記基板を5分間乾式洗浄した後、真空蒸着装置に基板を移送した。

- アノードと、
前記アノードに対向して設けられているカソードと、
前記アノードと前記カソードとの間に設けられている発光層とを含む有機発光素子であって、
前記カソードと前記発光層との間に設けられている電子輸送層を含み、
前記電子輸送層は、第1の電子輸送層と第2の電子輸送層とを含み、
前記第1の電子輸送層は、前記発光層に接して設けられ、
前記第1の電子輸送層の再配向エネルギーは、前記発光層と前記第1の電子輸送層とのLUMOエネルギー差以下である、
有機発光素子。 - 前記発光層と前記第1の電子輸送層とのLUMOエネルギー差に対する前記第1の電子輸送層の再配向エネルギーは、0超過1以下である、
請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記第2の電子輸送層は、前記第1の電子輸送層に接して設けられる、
請求項1または2に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記第2の電子輸送層のLUMOエネルギー値は、2eV〜5eVである、
請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記第1の電子輸送層の厚さは、5nm〜10nmである、
請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子を含む、
ディスプレイ装置。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子を含む、
照明装置。
