Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a tape for curing and protecting relatively thin portions (hereinafter referred to as outdoor handrails and the like) such as outdoor handrails and the like when painting and renovating buildings and the like.
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a conventionally used outdoor handrail etc. curing tape. Heretofore, an outdoor handrail or other curing tape has a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the entire surface on one side using a polyolefin or a synthetic resin film so as to prevent tears, holes and scratches even when pasted for a long time.
In the case of a paper base curing tape, when it is stuck for a long time, it may contain moisture, and may cause corrosion of the adherend or adhesive residue when removing the tape. And there is a problem in durability.
With regard to curing of outdoor handrails and the like, there is an outdoor handrail cover material using cushioned foamed olefin.
However, the outdoor handrail cover material could be removed by impact and could only be used for outdoor handrails of a certain shape and size.
Moreover, when curing a thin part, it is difficult to stick a long straight on the adherend with a conventional curing tape.
In order to solve the problems like this, the applicant uses a synthetic resin film having a thickness of 0.03 to 1.0 mm, a flat yarn cloth or a non-woven tape substrate having a solar radiation transmittance of 30% or less, which can be used outdoors. By providing an adhesive layer with a thickness of 0.01 mm to 0.25 mm and a width of 5.0 mm to 100 mm at both ends of the surface in contact with the handrail surface, the distance between the adhesive layer and the adhesive layer on the tape substrate is 10 mm We developed an adhesive tape for curing outdoor handrails and the like, which was made to have a thickness of 1000 mm (Patent Document 3).
However, in order to work efficiently, the adhesive tape for curing the outdoor handrail etc. of this prior invention is the person holding the winding tape winding on the end of the handrail and the other handrail drawn out of the tape. Work to cover the periphery of the handrail with outdoor adhesive tape for curing by using an adhesive layer and adhesive layer provided on both ends of the surface tape on the side that contacts the outdoor handrail surface by stretching the tape up and cutting it.
Examples of the method for applying the pressure-sensitive adhesive include gravure coating method, roll coating method, reverse coating method, doctor blade method, bar coating method, comma coating method, fountain coating method, lip coating method, knife coating method and the like. . Among these, the gravure coater method, the comma coater method and the lip coater method are preferable. When the pressure-sensitive adhesive is used by being dissolved or dispersed in a solvent (including water), after application, the solvent or dispersion medium is dried by heating with energy such as hot air, (near) infrared radiation, or high frequency. The dry coating thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive is usually 5 to 250 μm, preferably 10 to 100 μm.
In the present invention, an adhesive layer having a thickness of 0.01 mm to 0.25 mm and a width of 5.0 mm to 100 mm is provided on both sides of the substrate on the surface on the side that contacts the outdoor handrail surface. The adhesive tape for curing the outdoor handrail etc. was prepared so as to be 10 mm to 1000 mm.
In the present invention, an adhesive layer of a fixed width is applied with a predetermined width d from both ends of the substrate, and both ends <width d> (dry edge) of the adhesive tape in the width direction for outdoor handrail etc. When the adhesive tape for curing handrails and the like is peeled off from the handrail after work, it is easy for a finger to enter, and the tape can be easily removed by opening it from here.
Moreover, in the adhesive tape roll for curing handrails etc. of the present invention, while looking at the adhesive layer provided substantially at the center (see FIG. 5), the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is aligned with the center of the balustrade such as handrail, Since the layer is on the outside of the wound body, work while looking at the adhesive layer at the center of the wound body, and the base material is good for hand cutting, so cut the tape by hand when it reaches the end of the balustrade such as handrail Then, the tape is temporarily fixed to the balustrade of the handrail or the like with the central adhesive layer, and after cutting the tape, the adhesion layer on both ends is adhered and finally fixed, and curing of the handrail or the like can be completed. It can be efficiently constructed by one worker alone.
Although both ends (width d) (dry edge) of the adhesive tape in the width direction for outdoor handrail etc. curing can usually be done only by not applying the adhesive, it is possible to apply a release agent or a non-adhesive resin or a film etc. It does not matter if both ends are finished in a non-adhesive state by bonding.

After that, using a roll marker, a white ink was drawn in the center of the substrate with a white ink on the side opposite to the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-coated side, and wound 20 m in a paper tube with an inner diameter of 75 mm.
Using the building curing tape prepared in Comparative Example 4, an outdoor handrail or the like outside was pasted so that the center white line was on the outside of the outdoor handrail. At the time of pasting, it was possible to stick on both sides of the outdoor handrail evenly and linearly, and the working efficiency was good.
After sticking the building curing tape prepared in Comparative Example 4 as described above and leaving it outdoors for 1 month, when it was peeled off, it could be peeled off beautifully without adhesive residue. In addition, it was confirmed that there was no damage or dirt on the outdoor handrails and the like.
