液体を吐出するノズルと、
前記ノズルに連通する個別液室と、
前記個別液室に連通して前記液体を供給する供給流路と、
前記個別液室に連通して前記液体を排出する排出流路と、を備え、
前記供給流路には供給側流体抵抗部を含み、
前記排出流路には排出側流体抵抗部を含み、
前記供給流路の流体抵抗Rinと前記排出流路の流体抵抗Routとが、Rin>Rout、の関係にある
構成とした。
供給側共通液室10に与える液体の供給側圧力:Vin[Pa]、
排出側共通液室50に与える液体の排出側圧力:Vout[Pa]、
供給側流路の流体抵抗(供給側流体抵抗):Rin[Pa・sec/m3]、
排出側流路の流体抵抗(排出側流体抵抗):Rout[Pa・sec/m3]、
とするとき、
循環する液体流量(循環流量)Q[m3/sec]、ノズル4のメニスカス圧力Vm[Pa]は、次の(1)式で求められる。
方法A:供給側流体抵抗Rin及び排出側流体抵抗Routのいずれか一方を固定して抵抗比を変える方法と、

Claims (9)
- 液体を吐出するノズルと、
前記ノズルに連通する個別液室と、
前記個別液室に連通して前記液体を供給する供給流路と、
前記個別液室に連通して前記液体を排出する排出流路と、を備え、
前記供給流路には供給側流体抵抗部を含み、
前記排出流路には排出側流体抵抗部を含み、
前記供給流路の流体抵抗Rinと前記排出流路の流体抵抗Routとが、Rin>Rout、の関係にある
ことを特徴とする液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記供給流路に通じる供給側共通液室と、
前記排出流路が通じる排出側共通液室と、を備え、
前記供給側共通液室に前記液体を供給する供給口から前記ノズルまでの流路の流体抵抗Rin2と、前記排出側流体抵抗部の入口から前記排出側共通液室を経て外部に前記液体を排出する排出口までの流路の流体抵抗Rout2とが、Rin2>Rout2、の関係にある
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記供給側流体抵抗部の流体抵抗Rin1と前記排出側流体抵抗部の流体抵抗Rout1と前記ノズルの流体抵抗Rpが、Rin>Rout>Rp、の関係にある
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 液体を吐出するノズルと、
前記ノズルに連通する個別液室と、
前記個別液室に連通して前記液体を供給する供給流路と、
前記個別液室に連通して前記液体を排出する排出流路と、
前記供給流路に通じる供給側共通液室と、
前記排出流路が通じる排出側共通液室と、を備え、
前記供給側共通液室に前記液体を供給する供給口から前記ノズルまでの供給側の流路の流体抵抗Rin1と、前記排出流路の入口から前記排出側共通液室を経て外部に前記液体を排出する排出口までの流路の流体抵抗Rout1とが、Rin1>Rout1、の関係にある
ことを特徴とする液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記排出流路の入口が対向する壁面が曲面形状である
ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記個別液室と前記ノズルを連通するノズル連通路を有し、
前記排出流路は前記ノズル連通路を介して前記個別液室に連通し、
前記壁面が前記ノズル連通路の壁面である
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の液体吐出ヘッドを含むことを特徴とする液体吐出ユニット。
- 前記液体吐出ヘッドに供給する液体を貯留するヘッドタンク、前記液体吐出ヘッドを搭載するキャリッジ、前記液体吐出ヘッドに液体を供給する供給機構、前記液体吐出ヘッドの維持回復を行う維持回復機構、前記液体吐出ヘッドを主走査方向に移動させる主走査移動機構の少なくともいずれか一つと前記液体吐出ヘッドとを一体化した
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の液体吐出ユニット。 - 請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の液体吐出ヘッド、又は、請求項7若しくは8に記載の液体吐出ユニットを備えていることを特徴とする液体を吐出する装置。
